    League One play-off picture

    That's it then. Sort of.

Forty-six games, slogged out since the season kicked off at the end of September.

Now four teams will have to pick themselves up and go again, with the carrot of Championship football dangling tantalisingly before them.

Blackpool have been to the brink and are on their way back again, Sunderland likewise, while for Lincoln and Oxford, the second-tier is an huge aspiration after years in the doldrums.

We might even have a few fans in at games, if we're lucky.

The next best thing, is to follow it with us here at BBC Sport. Do join us then from Tuesday, 18 May onwards.

Until then, enjoy your Sunday. Goodbye.

    Full-time in League One

    James Coppinger

Swindon's late comeback from 3-1 down to win 4-3 at Wigan is one of the more attention-grabbing full-time scores in League One.

There were five goals at Crewe as they beat Shrewsbury 3-2 thanks to Chris Porter scoring with his first touch after coming on as a substitute.

Meanwhile, James Coppinger's farewell match at Doncaster was partly overshadowed by a flood of goals for Peterborough, who were comfortable 4-1 winners.

  4. Post update

    League One final day

Gillingham have held on to beat Plymouth. The League One season is over.

Here are some of the other full-time headlines.

  5. Post update

    League One final day

We're just waiting on the result from Priestfield, where Gillingham lead Plymouth 1-0 through Vadaine Oliver's goal.

The game is running behind because of a first-half injury to Plymouth's Kell Watts, who was stretchered off.

  6. Post update

    League One final day

Swindon have given themselves a huge boost with a late double on the final day.

First Tyler Smith stretched to get on the end of a brilliant cross to nod past a despairing Wigan goalkeeper.

Scott Twine has now fired in his second from 25 yards in stoppage time to put the away side 4-3 up!

  9. FULL-TIME

    Oxford 4-0 Burton

Oxford just waiting on Pompey now...

  10. Post update

    Portsmouth 0-1 Accrington

Can't help but wonder if a full Fratton Park would have made the difference? Or would it have ratcheted up more pressure?

Either way, Portsmouth are going to miss out on promotion again.

  11. Post update

    League One final day

Two quickfire goals in the match between Sunderland and Northampton as Sam Hoskins' deflected free-kick is replied to by Carl Winchester tapping in for his first for the club.

Lincoln's game against Wimbledon is now the only game without goals.

  12. Post update

    Oxford 4-0 Burton

    Joe Thompson

Former Rochdale and Tranmere midfielder on Squad Goals

Oxford's fans will be delighted, they have been ruthless. This will be a great springboard for going into the play-offs.

  13. GOAL: Oxford 4-0 Burton

    Sam Winnall (90+2 mins)

What a way to surely sew up a play-off spot, with a thumping 4-0 win.

Sam Winnall icing the cake, with a dink over Dillion Barnes from outside the box.

    Cool as you like.

    Play-offs here they come*

    *Surely.

  14. FIVE MINUTES OF ADDED TIME

    Oxford 3-0 Burton

  15. GREAT SAVE!

    Portsmouth 0-1 Accrington

Harvey Rodgers fouls Ronan Curtis and the free-kick is given.

Curtis places it, Lee Brown and Harvey White stand over it.

Curtis hits it low but Toby Savin again is the barrier. Superb save.

  16. Post update

    Portsmouth 0-1 Accrington

Ronan Curtis is skulking like a teenage boy made to clean his room on a sunny day. Portsmouth's frustration is tangible.

Accrington belt it long and Pompey have to play out from the back. They have two minutes plus stoppages for two goals.

  17. Post update

    League One final day

In one of the most open games of the afternoon, Chris Porter has put Crewe 3-2 up against Shrewsbury with his first touch after coming on as a substitute.

Hallam Hope's goal has brought us the same scoreline in the game between Wigan and Swindon.

His side have every chance of coming back into the match as they have a man advantage because Curtis Tilt, who gave the home side the lead in the first half, has been sent off after tugging back a Swindon player who was chasing a long goal kick.

  18. Post update

    Oxford 3-0 Burton

Four minutes plus stoppages to go as Oxford head for the play-offs.

All eyes and ears will be on events at Fratton Park no doubt on the Oxford bench.

  19. Post update

    Portsmouth 0-1 Accrington

Charlie Daniels gets into the box but Toby Savin makes the save. It was on the right foot but a superb save from the Accrington goalkeeper.

Just before that, Ronan Curtis hits one but again man-mountain Michael Nottingham blocks. He's been the scourge of the Pompey attack.

  20. Post update

    Portsmouth 0-1 Accrington

    Portsmouth v Accrington

Disappointing corner from Pompey almost become a threat after Sean McConnville made a mess of hooking it away but Toby Savin was alert to smother.

Pompey running out of time. Oxford on course.
