It slices open the defenders inside the box but Parris curls it over and wide. She squeals afterwards - she knows it was a big chance.

The Latvia players are throwing everything in front of England. Keira Walsh shows a bit of frustration and smacks one way over the bar.

Ella Toone weaves into the box from the left. It's an excellent run and she tees up Georgia Stanway at the end of it but the Manchester City midfielder hits it into a wall of defenders.

It's carnage in the box as England try to get around the bodies to put a shot in.

The England players are all eyeing up goals. Millie Bright has tonnes of space outside the box and she has a pop but it's way over.

Fedotova does well for Latvia to win a free-kick after Georgia Stanway gives it away in the middle.

England have the ball back moments later but Ella Toone's curling effort is comfortable for the keeper.

Keira Walsh finds Bethany England in the box and her header is straight at the goalkeeper.

Rachel Daly keeps it alive but the pass back to Ella Toone is too heavy.

So no broken records for Ellen White tonight or a goal on Fran Kirby's 50th appearance.

Ella Toone is still chasing a hat-trick though.

Leah Williamson gifts Nikita Parris a brilliant opportunity within minutes of kick-off, chipping it back from the byline.

Parris is unmarked but she nods it wide.
