Francis Vermeylen: #myeurofavourite, external Comparing Zidane and Ronaldo is like comparing Federer and Djokovic. The latter might be 'better' on almost every statistical metric, but the former just has a certain je ne sais quoi...

  2. 'We have food to eat...thanks to those feet'published at 14:17 British Summer Time 9 June 2021

Of course CR7 and Zlatan were included.

Have a watch of this...and enjoy....and feel inspired.

  11. Relive when Zidane broke England's heartspublished at 13:37 British Summer Time 9 June 2021

Not sure if we should inflict this on everyone. Sorry.

A case of what could and should've been for England at Euro 2004 as they threw it away against France in the group stages.

As a result, England finished runners-up and ran in to Portugal and Cristiano Ronaldo in the next round, before France got stunned by a Greece side that would go on to win the whole thing.

Two of our remaining eight feature heavily in this one as David Beckham sets up the first for the Three Lions and then misses a penalty before two goals from Zinedine Zidane win it late on for France.

Chris in Glasgow: Too much club/England bias going on here. Man Utd fan so will always love Scholes, but he achieved nothing with England (nor did any English players). And De Bruyne? Yes he is a fantastic player, but hasn't won anything for Belgium or in Europe. How he gets picked over someone like Ramos (who has won the lot) is beyond me.
