Daniel Maldini became the third generation of Maldini to score for AC Milan in Serie A.
His goal in the 2-1 win over Spezia came 13 years and 179 days after the last league goal of his father Paolo and 60 years and 22 days after the last Serie A goal of his grandfather Cesare.
