Barcelona v Bayern Munich (20:00 BST)

Barcelona's game with Sevilla at the weekend was postponed because of the late return of players from international duty, so the last time they played was on 29 August. Two of the players who featured in the starting XI that beat Getafe 2-1 are no longer at the club - Antoine Griezmann and Emerson Royal.

Another starter in that game, Martin Braithwaite, is out, joining fellow forwards Sergio Aguero, Ousmane Dembele and Ansu Fati on the treatment table. However, Luuk de Jong is now at the club and starts tonight for his debut.

Also coming into the side are defenders Eric Garcia and Gerard Pique and young, talented midfielder Pedri.

Barcelona:Ter Stegen, Araujo, Pique, Garcia, Busquets, Sergi Roberto, Frenkie de Jong, Pedro Gonzalez, Jordi Alba, Luuk de Jong, Depay.

Subs: Dest, Puig, Demir, Neto, Coutinho, Lenglet, Mingueza, Umtiti, Pena, Nico Gonzalez, Gavi, Balde.

Bayern Munich make two changes from Saturday 4-1 win at RB Leipzig.

Serge Gnabry was withdrawn in that game at the weekend and has travelled to Spain, but is only on the bench. Jamal Musiala starts instead.

At the back, Niklas Sule comes in for Lucas Hernandez.

Bayern Munich: Neuer, Pavard, Upamecano, Sule, Davies, Goretzka, Kimmich, Sane, Muller, Musiala, Lewandowski.

Subs: Richards, Gnabry, Coman, Choupo-Moting, Cuisance, Sabitzer, Sarr, Lucas, Roca, Kouassi, Ulreich, Stanisic.

We expected the change from David Wagner giving his team an aerial presence going forward.

Varane coming on for Man Utd allows for Pogba and Fernandes to try and get on the ball.

    Young Boys 0-1 Man Utd

Bright start for Young Boys to this half - no chances yet though. Half-time sub Jordan Siebatcheu scored three goals in qualifying.

Five subs allowed in the Champions League, still, I believe. So United still have three to make.

Charlie: Test now. Might be Young Boys, but away in Europe, having to play 45 minutes with 10 men. Time to show our progress and resilience.

HT: Sevilla 1-1 Red Bull Salzburg

Apologies, I gave you some dud information when I said Ivan Rakitic's goal for Sevilla against Red Bull Salzburg was the third penalty of the game.

It was the fourth - Salzburg missed two.

Karim Adeyemi missed his, then Salzburg won another so Luka Sucic took and scored that. They got a third penalty so Sucic stayed on spot-kick duties... and hit the post.

Rakitic then made it 1-1 with Sevilla's only penalty of the half.

HT: Young Boys 0-1 Man Utd

    Michael Brown
Former Man City midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

It was a fascinating first half. Man Utd with a little bit of pressure early and a couple of opportunities.

Meschak Elia has taken up some good positions for Young Boys.

But it was all about Bruno Fernandes with a wonderful pass with the outside of his right foot and who else but Cristiano Ronaldo putting it in the back of the net.

But the game has changed on that red card for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

    Young Boys 0-1 Man Utd

    The half-time whistle goes.

It started off very well for United with Cristiano Ronaldo's goal. But Aaron Wan-Bissaka's straight red card has changed the momentum and given the hosts real hope.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 45+1 mins

    Young Boys 0-1 Man Utd

Meschak Elia air-kicks a decent chance for Young Boys and then Christian Fassnacht fouls Fred and gets booked.

  13. INJURY TIMEpublished at 45 mins

    Young Boys 0-1 Man Utd

One minute added on. United hanging on a bit.

You can hear the supporters, the red card has given everyone in the stadium a lift. Those behind the goal feel they have a chance to beat Man Utd and that is huge.

  15. Postpublished at 43 mins

    Young Boys 0-1 Man Utd

A lot of Young Boys' chances have been from distance. Vincent Sierro's 30-yarder is a simple save for David de Gea.

Michael Reid: Never a red card... Games gone so soft.

Judith Taylor: Bad tackle, not a red but an Oscar for the Swiss guy just for the pitch thumping alone, up and running around.

Paulc089: That's one of those tackles that usually proves just how two faced football fans are. Man Utd fans will moan about it but if it went for the other team and the other team had that red card they'd then defend it and say it was right.
