Man City 3-1 Leipzig
Leipzig's Tyler Adams kicks down Jack Grealish from behind and gets booked.
Liverpool 2-2 AC Milan
The Reds are back in full flight.
Trent Alexander-Arnold slices a shot from the edge of the box over the bar following a corner.
Man City 3-1 Leipzig
City have a great chance 30 seconds after the restart.
Kevin de Bruyne plays a phenomenal through ball into Ferran Torres. I thought Torres was going to chip the keeper who was on the edge of his box but he shoots straight at him.
Mohamed Salah
LEVEL AGAIN!
Excellent work from Divock Origi releases Mohamed Salah in behind the defence with a little dinked pass. Salah does the rest, steering the ball home.
The fuse is lit again.
Club Bruges 1-1 PSG
I mentioned Kylian Mbappe's injury late in the first half. Luckily for PSG he's able to continue.
They do make two subs at the break though - Danilo Pereira and Julian Draxler for Leandro Paredes and Georginio Wijnaldum.
Liverpool 1-2 AC Milan
Oh my! Anfield breathes a huge sigh of relief. Liverpool catch AC Milan offside following a short corner that leads to Alexis Saelemaekers slotting in.
For a second, this ground thought the Reds had a mountain to climb.

Richard: Liverpool are losing because they have scored one goal, whereas AC Milan have scored two. Hope that helps!
I've seen worse punditry.
We've had a remarkable first 45 minutes. What will the next lot serve up? The games are back under way.

Elias: Shocking defending from Joe Gomez playing the Milan attackers onside. Forgotten how to defend. Was this the right game to leave Van Dijk out? All that dominance & wastefulness. We must be more clinical. There's always that fear with Liverpool that we'll throw it away.

I'm confuddled. You think you've got an idea of what's going on and then that happens.
There are people in the press box here looking confused, writing reports, they'll be scrapping the whole first 45 minutes because none of it will make sense now.
I still think Liverpool will win because they've created so many chances and they'll create more.
That was as weird a Champions League first half as I've seen in many years.

Ramy: Total domination with 10 corners and missed spot kick, doesn't give you the right to be THAT wasteful. Paid for complacency.
Tambuwal: Unbelievable. I just can’t believe what I’m seeing at Anfield.
Man City 3-1 Leipzig
RB Leipzig defender Nordi Mukiele is the first player to both score an own goal and provide an assist in a Champions League game since Thomas Partey for Atletico Madrid against Bayer Leverkusen in November 2019.
Still no goals in the San Siro, where Inter Milan are being held by Real Madrid. No goals either between Atletico Madrid and Porto in Liverpool's group. Diego Simeone has done plenty of screaming from the touchline, though.
Half-time in some other games too, Club Bruges 1-1 PSG and Sporting Lisbon 1-3 Ajax.
Man City 3-1 Leipzig
That was basically the last kick of the half. City are back on control.

Remarkable. I do not think I've ever seen a 45 minutes that is so unlike the scoreline.
Milan just went straight through the middle of that defence on both occasions. What an extraordinary thing to see.
What an interesting second half we're going to see, we'll be seeing the big names coming on now.
Liverpool 1-2 AC Milan
Remarkable!
Liverpool threatened to absolutely run away with this game in that half. They scored early, missed a penalty and had chance after chance after chance.
But two goals, separated by just under two minutes mean they trail at the break.
Football is great isn't it?
Riyad Mahrez (45+2 mins)
It feels like a 50-50 chance of City scoring a penalty when they win one.
This one is in though. Lovely by Riyad Mahrez, who sends the keeper the wrong way and places it top-right corner.
