Otavio is really upset as he takes his seat in the dugout. He throws a shirt over his head and has tears in his eyes. He's got the ice out and it looks like a hamstring injury.

    PSG 1-0 Man City

Lovely switch from Ruben Dias with a cross-field ball to Jack Grealish.

The £100m man takes it cleanly on his chest but then puts it straight out of play when looking to find the run of Bernardo Silva.

Fabulous goal - PSG finally got some momentum and movement. Lionel Messi travelling with the ball and Kylian Mbappe gets into an area and pulls the ball back just outside the six-yard box - Idrissa Gueye dispatches it right into the top corner, a wonderful finish after a great move.

    Breakthrough!

One prong of the front three is involved, but not in the way he would have thought.

City fail to deal with a cross and Neymar takes a free swing at it and mis-cues and the ball drops loose 10 yards out.

Riyad Mahrez cannot deal with it and in comes former Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye with a superb, curling finish into the top corner.

    Proper postage stamp that.

Luis Diaz is keeping James Milner busy. The Liverpool utility man is given a chase with one over the top but he deals with it.

It comes back to Diaz on the edge of the box a few moments later but he drags the shot straight at Alisson.

Will Man City be brave enough in the full-back areas to leave the two wide players of PSG? They have started as though they are going to do that.

82% possession for City after three minutes.

They pretty much had that throughout the game against Chelsea at the weekend.

Will the visitors keep MNM (Messi, Neymar, Mbappe) quiet?

Bartholomew: Would prefer Keita over Jones in midfield. Jones certainly looking like a bright prospect for the future but why did Liverpool spend 54 million on a player to sit on the bench?

Liverpool's chance of reaching the knockout phase suffered a blow when they were drawn in Group B with three other teams from the Euro Club Index top 25.

However, an opening matchday victory against AC Milan (ranked 21st) has improved the Reds' chances of a place in the last-16 to 85%.

Tonight's opponents are theoretically better than Milan though as they are ranked 16th in the Euro Club Index so this is also a tough fixture.
