    Man City 0-0 PSG

There is the class of PSG. They make mincemeat of the City press in two passes down the right that releases Achraf Hakimi. He carries the ball deep and finds Neymar, who then gives it away. Thanks Neymar, mate, I've just run 60 yards, no doubt thinks Hakimi.

    Liverpool 0-0 Porto

Pepe looks like he could be struggling. He glances across to the Porto bench. This would be a blow for the visitors.

    Man City 0-0 PSG

Boos from the home fans as Kylian Mbappe goes down following a challenge from Rodri. The City midfielder hung an arm across the forward, who made plenty of it.

    Liverpool 0-0 Porto

Evanilson is down for the visitors. Got a nudge in the back from Ibrahima Konate, but looked like he might be heading that direction anyway... The Brazilian is back on his feet for the moment.

Manchester City and PSG testing each other out at the moment and a real buzz around Etihad Stadium when any of that famous front three of Messi, Mbappe and Neymar are on the ball.

It's City who are looking the bigger threat, however, and it is needed a couple of crucial interventions from the PSG defence to stop them going ahead.

    Man City 0-0 PSG

Raheem Sterling finds Oleksandr Zinchenko in the box but his shot is blocked by the boot of Presnel Kimpembe. PSG having to dig in.

    Riyad Mahrez doing bits again.

He clips over a cross that is flicked just wide by the head of the charging Ilkay Gundogan.

    Liverpool 0-0 Porto

Takumi Minamino wriggles in behind the Porto defence and is looking for Mo Salah in the middle, but Chancel Mbemba gets a crucial leg across. Ibrahima Konate heads straight at the keeper from the corner but pushed a defender in the process.

  10. Leipzig take early lead against Brugespublished at 20:19 Greenwich Mean Time 24 November 2021

The only goals so far in the 20:00 GMT Champions League kick-offs are in Man City and PSG's group, where RB Leipzig have taken an early lead 2-0 at Club Bruges.

Christopher Nkunku put the German side ahead before Emil Forsberg's penalty.

Were that result to stay the same both Man City and PSG would be through to the last 16 regardless of the result at the Etihad.

    Goal-saving header from Achraf Hakimi.

He sticks his bonce in where it's needed to head the ball over following a shot from Riyad Mahrez that is heading for the target.

Mahrez is City's danger man right now.

Trouble! But City get away with it.

Neymar collects and then dances around a tackle in the box before side-footing a tame shot that almost falls for Kylian Mbappe. Ederson kicks clear. Flag is up, though. Neymar was off for the initial pass.

    Liverpool 0-0 Porto

Liverpool's end product just isn't quite on it at the moment. They've got into wide positions several times without being able to deliver a decent ball.

Kylian Mbappe is a coiled spring. Just waiting to launch into full stride. He's being marshalled well by that City defence so far, though.

    Liverpool 0-0 Porto

How are Porto not in front?!

Mo Salah twists and turns on the right of the Porto box and draws an "ooh" from the crowd.

But the visitors pinch possession and hit Liverpool on a rapid break. Luis Diaz bursts free, draws Alisson out of his goal and tees up Otavio to his right inside the penalty box, but the winger somehow skews his effort wide. Should have buried it!

Down goes Riyad Mahrez in the box. He wants a penalty. Yeah, good luck with the lad. It was a perfectly fine tackle to stop him from Nuno Mendes.

These two have clearly chucked around an absolute fortune for this to be the case, but the football in show is mighty impressive. Pristine touches all over the shop.

    Vital interception from Achraf Hakimi!

The full-back sticks his chest in to stop Raheem Sterling bringing a cross to the back post down for a close-range shot.
