The forward doesn't get much on it, taking Joel Matip by surprise and it hits the Liverpool defender and trickles wide. Alisson was beaten there.

It was possibly the wrong person for City in that situation - Zinchenko. He didn't make any decision at all. You needed someone with more creativity.

This is already shaping up to be a cracker.

PSG's first attack, on the counter, sees a shot from Neymar blocked. They slunk right through the City press.

City drive forward again with Bernardo Silva finding Oleksandr Zinchenko infield. He is about to shoot but has his pocket pinched for possession by Leandro Paredes.

Pepe shows he's still got some legs - this is the Portuguese defender's 100th Champions League outing but he gets across to beat Mo Salah to a through ball and tidy up for the visitors.

Well, we got quite the light show here ahead of kick-off. Fireworks too. It's almost as if it's a big game or something.

If this is a dour draw we're all going to be fuming. It'd be a huge win for City if they can manage it, not just for the points but psychologically. Especially with the absentees.
