Liverpool defender Kostas Tsimikas says his "dream came true" when he arrived at Anfield.

"I am very happy with how I have played in the team," he said. "I love working with these players and with the gaffer and will try to keep improving.

"When I came here, I used to play differently but the manager has told me exactly what he wants. He's helped me a lot and is always there for me.

"I want to thank him a lot."

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli says his team will be up against one of "the best in the world" when they face Liverpool.

"We need to be strong, because the level will be high," said Pioli. "We want to test ourselves against the best and pick up the best result possible."

In September, Milan overturned an early Liverpool opener to lead at the break, only to lose 3-2 after goals from Mo Salah and Jordan Henderson.

"In the reverse fixture, we were put under a lot of pressure by them," said Pioli. "But if we overcome their initial press, spaces could open up."

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp on team changes: "We want to win the football game, that's why we selected the line-up we have tonight.

"This is the only game where we can really change things. It's my first time in this stadium and I thought 'wow'.

"The pitch is not so good but the rest is outstanding. So we come here and we want to give it a go."

On Tyler Morton starting: "We shouldn't make much of these kinds of occasions. He is ready for us and that's why he is playing. I'm happy we could give him this opportunity."

On what to expect from AC Milan: "A proper fight. They have to win. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is probably as old as my whole bench! It's just a nice opportunity."

At the end of the game, if either of those players are injured and out for six weeks, we'd know it's a mistake.

Champions League

While Liverpool are assured top spot in Group B, all three other teams are in the race to claim the runners-up spot.

Porto currently occupy the position on five points, one more than both AC Milan and Atletico Madrid. A win for the Portuguese side at home to Atletico will seal it.

However, should both Atletico and Milan win, it will come down to goal difference as they are tied on their head-to-head record. The Italian side are currently one goal better off than Diego Simeone's team.

Only Alisson, Mo Salah and Sadio Mane keep their places.

Divock Origi starts up front after scoring the winner against Wolves, while there's another opportunity for young Tyler Morton in midfield.

There's several academy players on the bench too, alongside Naby Keita and Joe Gomez who are returning from injury.
