    Liverpool 3-3 Benfica (6-4 agg)

Liverpool aren't quite done here! Mohamed Salah whips a left-footed shot just over the crossbar at the end of another swift home attack.

    The Reds are almost there.

Felipe had to be sent off as simple as that. He wins the ball but then leaves a bit on Phil Foden. We spoke about the dark arts before the game. The surprise is that Felipe is surprised. What on earth was he thinking? It was idiotic. Dear me. What did he expect? He knew what he was doing. Don't play the fool Felipe.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:51 British Summer Time 13 April 2022

    Liverpool 3-3 Benfica (6-4 agg)

We'll have five minutes of added time at Anfield.

Roberto Firmino is replaced by Divock Origi for the final few minutes after a fine performance and two crucial goals.

  4. RED CARDpublished at 21:50 British Summer Time 13 April 2022

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Man City (0-1 agg)

And Felipe is off! That was for the follow through on Phil Foden. Can't have any complaints.

It's absolute mayhem at the Wanda, the Atletico Madrid man won't go quietly and is kicking out en route to the tunnel.

  6. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 21:49 British Summer Time 13 April 2022

    Liverpool 3-3 Benfica (6-4 agg)

Another goal ruled offside, but this time it's Liverpool's.

This one does look like a correct call, however, as Sadio Mane slots in from Mohamed Salah's pass. Yep, no goal.

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Man City (0-1 agg)

Again City throw themselves in front of the ball to stop Luis Suarez turning in.

Phil Foden breaks and runs almost the length of the pitch before Felipe slides in to tackle the young midfielder, but then leaves something on him.

Foden is down clutching his ankle and Stefan Savic runs over trying to drag him to his feet, but Foden's team-mates come flying in to help him out and now we have 20-odd players pushing and squaring up to one another.

Now it's flaring up on the benches. Pep Guardiola is out barking orders at the top of his technical area. It's breathless at the moment. And tense. Two minutes to go.

  10. Postpublished at 21:47 British Summer Time 13 April 2022

    Liverpool 3-3 Benfica (6-4 agg)

It would be some achievement for Benfica to even win on the night here, having trailed 3-1 at Anfield.

They've always been at least two goals behind on aggregate, though. Can they make this a nervous finale for the hosts? They're running out of time...

Good feet from Riyad Mahrez as he skips across the top of the box but his shot is blocked before he can gather any speed.

Raheem Sterling is then taken down and lies on the ball to stop Atletico breaking, but it is Rodri who is booked after all that.

Manchester City have the ball where they want it, in the Atletico Madrid half. But not for long and the hosts can break here.
