Phenomenal football by Real Madrid and City had no comeback.

What a game of football. It’s probably the best I have ever seen.

An incredible performance by Real Madrid.

There is joy unbound amongst the Real players, but tears for many of the City players. They looked dazed. They simply could not recover from that double blow in injury time from Rodrygo.

The Real players deserve every moment of celebration here. Yes, this is an elite club, with well-paid players but the character they showed tonight goes beyond.

I understand if you can't face this as a City fan right now, while it is raw, but for all the neautrals - how can you not love football after watching that?

The atmosphere is truly incredible.

At 80 minutes we thought game over – not this crowd, not this team.

Real are first to every City ball into the box.

They can't make the corner count.

The ball is in the air from a number of headers but the one that really counts - to nod the ball back into the box - goes to nobody.

City have a corner as we go into added time. Three minutes of it. Is that all?!

As impressive as the 'never say die' attitude of Madrid has been, I do think City have thrown this away. If you lapse in concentration at key moments, you're punished and that's exactly what City have done. There were signs of it in the 1st leg. Will their bottle go in the Prem League too?
