West Ham have 10 points from four games - four clear of nearest rivals Dinamo Zagreb with two games left - and look set to go through as Group H winners.

That would guarantee them a last-16 spot rather than, as group runners-up, having to go into a play-off with a third-placed team from the Champions League.

"I'd like to get the job done, but we've given ourselves a really good start and because of that we've got a little bit of room for manoeuvre," said boss David Moyes.

Tonight's match is being played behind closed doors as Austria has returned to a full national lockdown to curb Covid-19 infections.

"I think it's something we hoped we'd never see again and that supporters would be back and we'd never be in this situation again," said West Ham boss David Moyes.

"All those things we've got away from in the last few months, I hope we're not back to, but I think in the short term we are."

They say success breeds success... so would winning Europe's third-tier competition help Antonio Conte's Tottenham lift more trophies in the future?

“I know this is not simple, I am honest to understand this, but we want to try and build something important and try and lift trophies together, this must be our target,” he said.

“To build something ready to fight, in England it is not easy because the other teams are very, very strong but I know that through the work we can improve a lot.

“If you ask me how much time we need before it happens, it is very difficult to tell you this. In our heart and mind, this must be our inspiration and we are to try to do this for the best of the club.”

  6. Conte taking Mura seriouslypublished at 17:10 Greenwich Mean Time 25 November 2021

NS Mura v Tottenham (17:45 GMT)

Spurs travel to Burnley in the Premier League on Sunday, but Antonio Conte says "all the players available" have travelled to Slovenia for his fourth match in charge.

"I said on Sunday that I need to make rotation because there are players that are a bit tired because they played many games with the national team, and also we worked a lot in the last two weeks," he said.

"There are other players that need game time."

NS Mura have lost all four group games and cannot progress. They were beaten 5-1 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in September.

Spurs are second in Group G on seven points - three behind leaders Rennes - with two games to go. The group winners will go through automatically and the runners-up will play a two-legged play-off in February.

"For us this competition is important. We want to take this fixture seriously," added Conte.

Ryan Sessegnon says he “has to look forward” after finding his way back into the Spurs first team under new boss Antonio Conte.

The left-back signed from Fulham in August 2019 but has struggled for form and fitness and says he has spoken to a psychologist about his lack of playing time.

“It’s been stop-start since I joined the club,” said Sessegnon. “It’s been tough and people close to me know much it has affected my confidence.

“It never crossed my mind to leave permanently, but I had to go out on loan and I got a little bit of help one-on-one with a psychologist, which was good.

“That is behind me now and [Conte’s arrival] has been massive for me to kick-start my career.

“The coach is a winner, he wants me to be positive and express myself.”

Conte confirmed Sessegnon was in his plans for the game and said he had been impressed by the former England U21 international.

“Ryan has great potential,” he said. "He is a talented player with great space for improvement. I can’t wait to see his performance."

Two Tottenham players remain from the XI that started Sunday's 2-1 win over Leeds. They are defender Japhet Tanganga and striker Harry Kane.

Ryan Sessegnon and Matt Doherty start in the full-back positions, with Davinson Sanchez and Joe Rodon joining Tanganga at the back.

Tottenham XI: Gollini, Doherty, Tanganga, Rodon, Sanchez, Sessegnon, Skipp, Ndombele, Alli, Bryan, Kane.

Mura are without injured forward Ziga Skoflek. The rest of the team will be well rested, though, with their game against Olimpija at the weekend having been postponed.
