Good wins for West Ham, Leicester and Rangers but Celtic and Tottenham were both beaten.

"Going into the last game, if we said that we would be top before we kicked off we would have taken that. You see the quality of the teams in the group, we are in control of where we finish. Our objective at the beginning was to qualify and that is in our hands."

"If we found a more subtle pass we could have had more goals, but overall good. We were much better, more solid defensively, the concentration in the game was good.

"Overall, we scored very good goals and I am very please for he team."

Leicester midfielder James Maddison tells BT Sport: "We knew after the result last night, we go into the game bottom and a win takes us top. All the teams have been up and down in the group but it was a convincing performance, three goals at home and we can be happy. We are in pole position.

"Ademola Lookman had good awareness and cut it back for me. There were bodies in front of me and I am comfortable with my left or right, I knew if I shifted it with a Cruyff turn I could finish it.

"I don't think I had a point to prove. I am hungry, I want to do well for my team, fans, family and the manager. I want to get back to my best and tonight I showed that. A goal and assist, affecting the team going forward. When you come away with the stats, it feels good."

Leicester have never lost a group stage game at the King Power Stadium in either the Europa League or the Champions League (P9 W7 D2).

A job well done for Leicester.

Three first half goals lifts them from the bottom of Group C to the top with one game remaining.

Ernest Muci looks in a lot of trouble and is being helped away by two physios.

A well-timed sliding challenge from Timothy Castagne but he inadvertently catches Ernest Muci on the ankle, leaving the Legia player in a heap on the turf and in significant pain.

Marc Albrighton does get a yellow card for kicking the ball away at a Legia free-kick.

This would have topped it off nicely.

Sub Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall takes a snapshot on from outside the box but drags it wide.

Already on a yellow card, Legia skipper Mateusz Wieteska comes in late and takes out Marc Albrighton.

Leicester work a training ground corner and almost pull it off but Patson Daka's clever flick at the near post is blocked.

The Nigerian makes a barnstorming run up the pitch, getting all the way to far touchline but cannot find fellow African Patson Daka with his cutback.

Any way back for Legia? They need to find a goal quickly to give Leicester a scare.

Mahir Emreli digs out a cross from the left but it's well collected by Kasper Schmeichel.
