They've got a different issue coming up now. Up until this point it was a let's see what they can do, let's enjoy the European trip.
I think with Barcelona going out, suddenly this competition has opened up for them. Suddenly they could potentially win this, it's a serious trophy that they could win.
You could potentially even call them favourites at this point. And that brings a different kind of pressure than they've had up until this point.
It's something else they've got to now learn to deal with.
This is a performance the whole of Europe will be taking a look at. They'll be noticing, well they beat Sevilla comfortably in the last round. They've just gone to Lyon who are a Champions League team and won that game.
These kind of performances can put you on the map. If you can go on and win this competition then suddenly you can strengthen in the summer.
Players will want to join this team, its a team that are progressing, it's a team that is building towards something. It's a team that is trying to bring European success to the club.
It's a huge statement performance from West Ham.

It's the desire to play this many games. You get your fitness in at the start of the season and show what you're capable of and your body becomes accustomed to it.
These West Ham players are continuing to do so. To ask them to come out on a game like this, a huge occasions, players will find the energy.
The test will be Burnley on Sunday when everything' settled down, they'll probably have aches and pains. That will be the difficult game for this West Ham team when you're using the same players all the time.
But for big games like this, the ones you're basically building your whole season around at the movement, they're the ones you'll find the energy for.

Andy: West Ham last played a European semi final 46 years ago, when I was 6 weeks old. And now here we are, about to face the same team we faced in that last semi in 1976, Eintracht Frankfurt. It's a funny old game

West Ham manager David Moyes, speaking to BT Sport: "Immensely proud of the players and the performance and probably more so, when you look back, of the performance in the second-half of the first leg when we were down to 10 men, which looked a really poor decision. The players stuck at it, never gave up, got a goal in front before we conceded. I don't think anyone, when they were putting questions to me earlier, thought we were going to make it tonight.
"If you have a good team spirit... all managers would like to get that and it is not easy. t mainly comes from winning. Good results builds it. We have a great group of lads. I'm lucky. They have been great in the time I have been here. And the journey in two years from trying to avoid relegation and now we are talking about getting to the semi-final of a major European tournament. It is fabulous and we are all going to look forward to it.
"It is huge what we have done in two years. We have not won any trophies yet but we are trying to compete and to qualify from European football again, if we can. To be getting to these later stages, we have beaten big clubs that are used to European football. You don't win anything for tonight but it was a big moment for us. Winning 3-0 away from home in Europe - really good result.
"When we were qualifying last year and you could hear all the West Ham supporters shouting 'we are going on a European tour'. They've had a pretty good tour this year - Belgium, Croatia, France tonight. We've been to Spain. I'm sure they'll all be looking forward to going to Germany as well."

West Ham got what they thoroughly deserved from the game. Lyon's fans feel shocked by it, the Lyon players seem shocked by it, but they were outclassed by this West Ham team.
Yes, Lyon started the game so well, but it was as if they used all their energy in the opening stages, and once they couldn't get the goal, they couldn't really compete with the athleticism of West Ham on the counter-attack.
They were organised, they got in positions well. They made it difficult for Lyon to really create anything.
At the back, Diop and Dawson would win absolutely everything which they did. They set the foundation for them to be able to spring forward and get the goals that they did.
I thought Lanzini was man of the match. And Antonio was a threat all night. A brilliant performance from this West Ham team.

Becky: OMG, what a game, what a performance! Happy Hammer tonight, semi-finals here we come

West Ham midfielder Declan Rice, speaking to BT Sport: "It's special. Very, very special. We knew it was a tough place to come, but we knew with what we had on the pitch, our attacking players and what we had seen in the first game with them defensively, we could score goals tonight.
"To get a 2-0 lead and then come out early in the second half and Jarrod to put that one in the net is a special feeling. For all the fans, it is such a great night.
"When it is half-time and it is 2-0 your heart is racing. You're thinking about it still being 0-0 as you need to go out and give another string performance.
"If you can't get up for these games you shouldn't be playing. The roar from the warm-up, it was spine-tingling and it gives you that fire in your stomach.
"Their Twitter admins were saying they don't know how they are not going to beat us, but those things come back to bite you. We put in a performance and now West Ham are in the semis.
"For Frankfurt to beat Barca, they are a good side. We will be ready for whatever. We want to reach the final."
West Ham forward Jarrod Bowen: "They came out strong and we had to deal with crosses into the box. But big Daws from a set-piece, which we have worked on a lot. Dec with another goal as well. It can be a horrible score to be 2-0 up. They get one back and they are back in it.
"We knew the first 15 minutes of the second half were big and we had to deal with the pressure. The way they defended, the space was there and I got in and thankfully got the third."

Barcelona 2-3 Frankfurt (3-4 agg)
Woooah! Barcelona get a penalty in the 11th minute of added time, a super soft one at that, and Evan Ndicka is sent off for a second yellow card.
Memphis Depay’s strike deflects off the goalkeeper, up on to the crossbar and then just over the line.
But then the final whistle immediately goes! Frankfurt are through, just…!

Conor McNamara

The riot police have been deployed. Supporters are trying to get on the pitch and there's been some very violent scenes from both ends of Lyon supporters.
It's been quite nasty since the full-time whistle. It's a sour end to this game.
But this is West Ham's night.

David Moyes wouldn't have believed his team could have put in a performance like that.
They would have had a game plan. He would have had an idea. He would have tried to motivate the players but he would not have expected his side to play like this.
FT: Lyon 0-3 West Ham (Agg: 1-4)
A few disgruntled Lyon fans look to add a bit of shame to their side's defeat by trying to get on the pitch.
Is getting their side kicked out of the French Cup and causing them to have a point deducted in the league not enough?
Lyon 0-3 West Ham (Agg: 1-4)
What a night for West Ham United. They have swept Lyon aside to reach their first major European semi-final since 1976.
Frankfurt await in the last four. The adventure continues.
