He cuts back onto his right before his resulting cross is headed away.

The visitors had a few men in the box there, but a foul on Dominic Solanke stops their momentum.

Moments later, Cherries keeper Mark Travers has to get down to his right to palm behind a bobbling shot from Callum Robinson.

This time the hosts survive the corner unscathed.

Bournemouth have more defending to do.

Darnell Fisher's inswinging corner from the left is headed away at the near post.

But then the ball pings about and is kept alive by Dara O'Shea and Kyle Bartley before the Baggies turn it over the bar.

The visitors are finishing the half stronger.

Now Bournemouth defender Jordan Zemura gets a talking-to from referee Dean Whitestone after a late challenge on Grady Diangana.

The young left-back is making his first league start for the Cherries, and is just about getting the better of the Baggies winger so far.

Really good play from Bournemouth midfielder Gavin Kilkenny draws the applause of the home fans.

He shows composure and a couple of decent touches to control the ball and smuggle it away from Callum Robinson and Grady Diangana before picking out a team-mate.

A couple of nervous moments for Bournemouth fans as centre-backs Lloyd Kelly and Chris Mepham are on the ball under pressure inside their own box.

In the end Wales international Mepham clears his lines and the Cherries win a free-kick to get a breather.

Conor Townsend launches another long throw into the Cherries box, but there's not enough on this one to truly rest the hosts.

West Brom have won the ball inside the Bournemouth half a few times already this evening, but haven't made the most of things when they've got possession.

First booking of the game as Bournemouth centre-back Chris Mepham is shown yellow for a body-check on Karlan Grant, who was looking to mount a counter-attack.

The challenge on Grant forced the West Brom forward into touch by the dugouts, and Cherries boss Scott Parker had to take evasive action to avoid him with a spot of leapfrog.

A long throw into the Bournemouth box leads to a spot of head tennis, with the Baggies defenders up from the back.

The ball falls to Conor Townsend, who volleys goalwards and Cedric Kipre sticks out a leg to try and get it on target.

He can only divert it high and wide.

Referee Dean Whitestone has a word with Baggies centre-back Kyle Bartley and captain Jake Livermore.

Bartley went in on Emiliano Marcondes - leading with his elbow slightly - while challenging for a bouncing ball in the Bournemouth box.
