An hour played, Celtic looking a bit uncomfortable. Changes imminent? I always make a sub at the hour mark in a certain football simulator game...

    Quote Message

They seem to be pressing Celtic higher up at goal-kicks. In the first half, they were letting them have it in defence and they look better hunting in packs

    Jablonec 1-2 Celtic

Jablonec are looking more of a threat now. Goalscorer Vaclav Pilar tests Joe Hart, and then a dangerous cross leads to Dominik Plestil's effort needing to be deflected out for a corner.

    Celtic have dropped off here.

  4. Kane in for Hendry only Saints changepublished at 17:59 British Summer Time 5 August 2021

    Galatasaray v St Johnstone (19:00)

St Johnstone boss Callum Davidson has made just one change to the team that played out a goalless draw at Ross County on Saturday.

The change comes in the frontline, as striker Callum Hendry is replaced by Chris Kane.

The Perth side's usual back three of Jason Kerr, Liam Gordon and Jamie McCart also start - might be they be buoyed by no Radamel Falcao in the home line-up?

Midfielder Craig Bryson is Davidson's only absentee. He misses out with a medial ligament strain.

Celtic have looked very comfortable and flew out the traps and it's just that defensive lapse of concentration. They could have scored three or four goals. This is a step down from Midtjylland and Celtic are more than capable of going through

Celtic lead at the break thanks to goals from Liel Abada and Kyogo Furuhashi.
