    Liverpool are starting to keep possession better and go towards the Chelsea goal. Mohamed Salah tried to come inside from the right, but Thiago Silva was equal to it.

    Naby Keita drills in a first-time shot from 20 yards which Edouard Mendy gets down low to save. Sadio Mane gets the rebound and you expect him to score from four yards out but Mendy leaps up in time to get an arm to his shot.

    Both teams are so hard to break down with their shape. I said it earlier about Liverpool, but Chelsea are exactly the same. They are so compact with Kante and Kovacic. It is really hard for Mane, Salah and Diaz to find space. It is really good to watch.

    Nice Liverpool move as Luis Diaz beats Trevoh Chalobah and finds Jordan Henderson who flicks it into the path of Mohamed Salah but the Egyptian has a shot blocked.

    Now Mason Mount fouls Sadio Mane and it's a free-kick in shooting range.

    I think this game will be a one goal plodder. Chelsea can't score, so they will try and stop Liverpool from moving forward. This game would benefit from an early goal. Come on Chelsea.

    Liverpool's first proper chance. Trent Alexander-Arnold whips in a wonderful cross from way downtown, Sadio Mane runs in behind and his header is very wide. He got that totally wrong.

    Trevoh Chalobah gets a bit lucky as he slides in on Sadio Mane and wins the ball, but lets the Liverpool forward get up and run with the loose ball. It comes to nothing in the end.

    When out look at Liverpool's set up behind the ball, they are really, really compact. I'd say there is 25 metres between Mane and Van Dijk, so they are hard to break break down. That is where they press from, and why they are so aggressive. They are compact and all go at the same time.
