Well, what a day that was!

Huge credit has to go to the two East Midlands teams who I talked about way back at the start of this live text.

Managerless Nottingham Forest remain bottom of the table but they have finally claimed their first win of the season thanks to a 2-0 success at Huddersfield and, with administration looming, Derby have beaten Stoke 2-1 in a result that may not end up mattering all that much at the end of the season but means an awful lot today.

Bournemouth end the day atop the second tier thanks to their 1-0 win at Cardiff coupled with Fulham's home defeat by Reading and West Brom drawing 1-1 at Preston.

Wigan have hit top spot in League One with a thumping 4-1 win at Accrington and Forest Green remain on top of League Two after a similarly comprehensive 4-0 victory at Stevenage.

At the bottom, Blackpool, Peterborough and Nottingham Forest all registered victories to close things up in the table.

But an expected 12-point deduction for Derby County for going into administration would put the Rams a the foot of the table on minus two points.

Bournemouth stretch their unbeaten start to eight games after their victory at Cardiff.

The rest of the top six all failed to win, and Blackburn move ahead of Huddersfield and into the play-off places after a goalless draw at Barnsley.

• Forest Green go four points clear at the top of the league after a comfortable 4-0 win away at Stevenage.
• Leyton Orient move up to second place after a 3-1 win away at struggling Bristol Rovers. Joey Barton's side pulled a goal back in injury time through a penalty from Brett Pitman in the 92nd minute, but it will continue to pile the pressure on the Rovers manager as they sit in 22nd place.
• Harrogate United's unbeaten start to the season came to an end, as they lost 2-0 away at Port Vale. Harrogate, who had Jack Diamond sent off just before the half-time whistle, drop to third place while Port Vale move up to seventh.
• Exeter City's good run continues as they won 2-0 at home to Sutton to move them up to fifth and mean they're unbeaten in the last five matches.
• There were two red cards in the match between Tranmere Rovers and Salford City, with both sides seeing a player sent off. Goals from Kieron Morris and Eliott Nevitt gave Tranmere the 2-0 win, however.
• Bottom of the league Oldham were held to a 0-0 draw at home to Hartlepool, in a match that again saw the home fans protesting against the club's ownership before kick-off.

• Wigan Athletic have moved to the top of the table, thanks to a 4-1 win at Accrington. Charlie Wyke scored twice for the visitors, the last in the 94th minute. Accrington drop to 11th - it's that tight at the top of the table.
• Sunderland threw away a 2-0 lead at Fleetwood Town, conceding two goals in the final minutes of match. Gerard Garner scored a penalty for the home side in the 97th minute to earn a 2-2 draw.
• Doncaster Rovers secured their first victory of the season, winning 1-0 at home to Morecambe. They remain stuck at the bottom of the table on four points, but it will give Richie Wellens' squad a big confidence boost.
• Ipswich Town also held on to win their first match of the season, winning 1-0 away at Lincoln City to move up to 19th.

• MK Dons have had an excellent afternoon, winning 4-1 away at Gillingham. The home side had taken the lead but things began to unravel once Stuart O'Keefe was sent off after just 26 minutes.
• Elsewhere, there were wins for Rotherham, Plymouth, Cheltenham and Cambridge.

• Lowly Peterborough beat 10-man Birmingham 3-0, while Blackpool come from behind to win at Middlesbrough for their second victory of the campaign
• Sheffield United win 3-1 at Hull in the early kick-off to go four games unbeaten

Right then, let's start to take a look at the full-time headlines from across the EFL...

Fulham fall to a first home defeat of the season and slip off the top of the Championship.

Ovie Ejaria's double is enough to seal back-to-back wins for the Royals.

A big win for Blackpool on the road as they come from behind to claim all three points.

Grant Hall's own goal proves the difference as Middlesbrough fall to defeat at the Riverside having taken an early lead through Marcus Tavernier.

That's just Blackpool's second victory this season and will be a massive confidence booster going into their upcoming fixtures.

Into injury time and Reading keeper Luke Southwood makes a close-range save to keep out a powerful shot from Josh Onomah.

Southwood has made some crucial stops for the visitors today.

An entertaining game ends in draw, which Swansea will be much the happier with, having trailed by three goals in the first half.

The Hatters will be left wondering how on earth they didn't win this one, having been cruising thanks to Luke Berry's opener and Elijah Adebayo's double.

Even when Jamie Paterson got a goal back for Swansea after 63 minutes there didn't look to be too much danger, but Olivier Ntcham's rocket reduced the gap and substitute Joel Piroe completed the comeback in injury time to send his side's fans back to Wales with a song in their heart!

A much-needed win for Posh and as it turns out, a very straightforward one.

An own goal from Harlee Dean after 45 seconds set them on their way, before Jonson Clarke-Harris struck a penalty and Jorge Grant wrapped it up with a third.

Still playing at Craven Cottage, and into six minutes of added time.

Can Fulham find an equaliser?

Bristol City have a third straight away win and go four unbeaten.

It's back-to-back defeats for QPR, in boss Mark Warburton's 100th league game in charge of the club.

Three successive draws for West Brom.

They're down to third.

Not a great deal doing in this one and it ends goalless.

Managerless Nottingham Forest have their first league win of the season.

They remain bottom of the table but they're within three points of safety.
