    Elijah Adebayo (3 mins)

    Derby 0-0 Reading

Wayne Rooney has made four changes to his Derby side tonight, two of which are enforced.

Keeper Ryan Allsop and centre-back Richard Stearman replace the suspended Kelle Roos and injured Phil Jagielka, while Craig Forsyth and Jason Knight also come into the side.

Can those fresh legs inspire the Rams against an in-form Reading side?

  6. Luton face tough Coventry taskpublished at 19:40 British Summer Time 29 September 2021

Since a 5-0 home drubbing by Birmingham last month, Luton have gone five further games without a win - ending a run of four draws with defeat at Bournemouth on Saturday.

Nathan Jones' side are unbeaten in five against opponents Coventry, but only the Cherries have won more Championship points than the Sky Blues (35) since the start of April.

And when Viktor Gyokeres scores it tends to be pivotal for third-placed Coventry - his seven goals this season have directly earned his side seven points.

  7. Cooper's admirable record against the Tykespublished at 19:37 British Summer Time 29 September 2021

Barnsley v Nottm Forest (19:45 BST)

Here's a stat that might bring some much-needed cheer to Nottingham Forest fans.

Newly-appointed boss Steve Cooper has a pretty decent record against the Tykes.

He has never lost a Championship fixture as a manager against Barnsley and knocked them out of last season's play-off semi-finals.

They travel to Oakwell to face a Barnsley side that have won just once in their past 14 matches in all competitions and are winless in seven.

  8. Pearson misses trip to The Denpublished at 19:33 British Summer Time 29 September 2021

Bristol City boss Nigel Pearson will miss tonight's match at Millwall having tested positive for Covid-19 earlier this week.

The 58-year-old must self-isolate for 10 days and will miss the Robins' next two matches.

His assistant Curtis Fleming will take charge of their game at The Den this evening as well as their next fixture, against Peterborough.

City travel to the capital unbeaten in five matches and are currently eighth in the Championship table.

  10. Derby's first home game since administrationpublished at 19:26 British Summer Time 29 September 2021

    Derby v Reading (19:45 BST)

It's been a week since Derby officially entered administration and triggered a 12-point deduction, leaving them seven points adrift at the bottom of the Championship.

Saturday's late defeat at Sheffield United will have been hard to stomach for Wayne Rooney's side, but the Rams are back at Pride Park tonight - where they are yet to fall behind in a league match this season.

Reading also have a potential points deduction hanging over them, for breaching the EFL's financial rules, though on the field Veljko Paunovic's Royals have won three on the bounce.

John Swift is very much the main man - he has the joint-most goals (7) and joint-most assists (5) in the Championship this season.

  11. Two losses in a row for Fulham?published at 19:23 British Summer Time 29 September 2021

    Fulham v Swansea (19:45 BST)

Fulham come into their game against Swansea having lost 2-1 against Reading at home last time around.

You'll have to travel back a fair while for the last time the Cottagers lost twice in a row at home outside the Premier League, however.

The last time that happened was in October 2016.

Can Swansea put another defeat on Fulham at Craven Cottage?

  12. Will the Cherries be on top?published at 19:20 British Summer Time 29 September 2021

    Peterborough v Bournemouth (19:45 BST)

Peterborough and Bournemouth meet for the first time in more than 10 years, when they shared a 3-3 draw in League One.

Strugglers Posh have only managed 69 shots in the Championship this season, 15 fewer than any other side in the division.

Scott Parker's Cherries, on the other hand, are yet to trail for a single minute in a league match this season and will return to the top of the table with victory at the Weston Homes Stadium.
