BBC Sport Wales at the Swansea.com Stadium

Not for the first time this season, Swansea are dominating possession and territory on their own ground.

The difference between this game and their others in the Championship at the Swansea.com Stadium this season is that Russell Martin's team have got noses in front.

Joel Piroe found the finish, though he could easily have had one or two more and Jamie Paterson has missed a golden chance.

Huddersfield, who have offered nothing in attack as yet, could have been out of this contest already.

    Both sides have had chances.

Ex-Fulham striker Chris Martin brought a save out of Paulo Gazzaniga, while at the other end Josh Onomah is denied by David Bentley.

    Mario Vrancic

The Potters lead and they do so in some style!

It's great work from Romaine Sawyers who expertly finds the run of Mario Vrancic, who cuts inside two defenders before rifling an unstoppable effort into the top corner.

Hull have had some good chances but their struggle to score goals could be their undoing again here.

    Swansea 1-0 Huddersfield

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Swansea.com Stadium

No Piroe, no party is very quickly becoming a popular chant among Swansea fans.

That is because the £1m summer signing from PSV Eindhoven is the Swans' leading scorer.

His sixth goal of the season - a cool finish after a neat combination with Jamie Paterson - has broken the deadlock this afternoon.

It was just a second home league goal of the season for Swansea, who really should have had another three minutes later only for Paterson to drag wide when through on Huddersfield goalkeeper Lee Nicholls.
