Lucy Staniforth swings it in from the right, it's missed by Lily Woodham, Grace Moloney comes to claim it under pressure from Hannah Blundell and it falls for Leah Galton.

She's got the goal gaping and it's a huge opportunity but she skies the hall-volley over the bar. What a miss!

United are picking up the pace now. Leah Galton makes a dart inside off the left but Faye Bryson slides in to block her entry into the box.

Nice play from Lucy Staniforth and Kirsty Hansen down the right. They play a one-two before the Scotland international's cut-back is intercepted just before it reaches Ella Toone.

Lily Woodham then shows her composure to wriggle away from a few challenges and bring the ball away safely on the edge of her own box.

United look dangerous on the break though. Vilde Boe Risa turns the burners on and gets away down the left. It takes two defenders to stop her.

The hosts are lacking a focal point up front though.

Reading have made a fantastic start to this game.

Oooft.

Hannah Blundell makes an excellent last-ditch block to deny Amalie Eikeland.

Reading had numbers forward and United are on the backfoot.

The resulting corner is punched clear but Reading wiin another one.

There's a great atmosphere here. The United fans are making their voices heard but so far Reading are doing a good job to limit their chances.

Reading have a free-kick on the right but it doesn't beat the first defender.

Hannah Blundell picks it up and breaks with pace, carrying it the length of the pitch before attempting to thread in Ella Toone.

It's cut-out at the last minute. That was a chance!

No real chances yet. Brooke Chaplen's effort from long range the closest Reading have come so far.

Deanna Cooper is forced into a crucial tackle as Ella Toone tries to poke it through her legs just outside the box.

She would have been in!

More work for Aoife Mannion - who has been impressive so far.

She's been busy on the ball and off it, putting a strong foot in here to deny Emma Harries running through.

Reading have started particularly well. They seem to be really up for this game and are moving the ball well.

Chloe Peplow gets stuck in for Reading to win the ball back and the visitors switch it across the back.

It comes down the right but Aoife Mannion deals with the cut-back calmly.

Hannah Blundell thumps it all the way back to Aoife Mannion with her options limited but United come straight down the right.

Kirsty Hansen is in space but she can't quite knock it past the last defender.
