Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart makes two top saves within a minute.

First, Martin Dolezal is clean through but Hart gets his hand in the way to deflect his shot for a corner.

Then, as Celtic fail to deal with the set-piece, the visitors have another shot at goal which Hart deflects away.

The Dons look to restore their two-goal aggregate advantage as Connor McLennan cuts in from the left but he fires well over.

As well as the backing crowds bring, they can also bring a sense of nerves to a venue and you can sense that now at Pittodrie after that Breidablik goal, which came at a time when it looked like Aberdeen were going to further add to their lead.

"The players never gave up and I can't ask for any more than that," St Johnstone manager Callum Davidson tells BBC Scotland. "Our heads could have gone down but they never did. We were beaten by a quality side, who were trying to qualify for the Champions League just a few weeks ago.

"It's a great experience for the players and hopefully we can go a bit further now we are in the Conference League."

Celtic are cruising now. David Turnbull plays a great through ball, Kyogo Furuhashi beats the goalkeeper to the ball to knock it across to James Forrest, but the offside flag is up.

Game on again at Pittodrie as a ball finds its way to Eyjolfsson who curls in a lovely finish into the top-left corner from the edge of the box.

It really should be two for Aberdeen.

Funso Ojo has been fantastic since his introduction as he again breaks down the left and feeds Ryan Hedges.

Hedges flick finds its way eventually to Lewis Ferguson but his finish rolls wide of the bottom-right corner.

More good goalkeeping thwarts St Johnstone as Murray Davidson squeezes a near post header on target and it's tipped over - rather flamboyantly.

Almost a spectacular own goal as Patrick van Aanholt tries to take down a long ball with his chest but the goalie comes to his rescue with a smart save as the Galatasaray defender pretends he meant it as a pass-back.

Jason Kerr does well to get first contact from a corner but no St Johnstone team-mate can get on the end of his knock-down.
