I'm not sure Harry Kane's Tottenham future was ever in doubt. He is a Spurs player through and through.

The team have had a bit of a bounce with the new manager coming in. Last season was quite difficult and I feel he wants to win things with Tottenham.

I'm not saying if Manchester City had come in that he wouldn't have gone, but I have a feeling he's happy enough and he enjoys being at the club.

He's not kicking and screaming to get out and he's happy to be at Tottenham to a degree. I'm not massively surprised he's taken that stance given the player he is and how much he likes the club.

Not only does Harry Kane start for Tottenham for the first time since 23 May, he's also been handed the captain's armband.

Kane is one of three changes from the side that started the first leg in Portugal - with Eric Dier and Lucas Moura also returning.

New signings Cristian Romero and Bryan Gil are given first home starts and there is firepower on the bench, with Son Heung-min, Dele Alli and Steven Bergwijn among the substitutes.

Tottenham XI: Gollini, Dier, Romero, Davies, Doherty, Winks, Lo Celso, Sessegnon, Lucas, Kane, Bryan.

Substitutes: Austin, Reguilon, Hojbjerg, Sanchez, Son, Alli, Bergwijn, Skipp, John, Scarlett, Paskotsi, Markanday.

Pacos de Ferreira, who lost 3-1 at home to Estoril since last week's win over Spurs, make four changes to the side that started the first leg.

Among those returning to the side is Chile winger Juan Delgado.

Harry Kane is staying in north London but are Spurs staying in Europe?

Nuno Espirito Santo's men have work to do if they are to reach the group stage of the Europa Conference League.

After losing 1-0 in Portugal last week, this is a must-win game and Nuno is wheeling out the big guns to try and avoid an embarrassing early exit.
