  1. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 21:10 British Summer Time 19 October 2021

    Stoke 0-1 Bournemouth

Stoke hit the post through Jordan Thompson, from a Tommy Smith cross, but Sam Clucas can't turn it in.

Bournemouth threaten at the other end, with Jordan Zemura trying to slalom his way through, but his tumble is deemed fair by the referee.

  2. League Two updatepublished at 21:09 British Summer Time 19 October 2021

Mark Cullen has his second goal for Hartlepool, to put them 2-0 up at Bradford.

Bristol Rovers' remarkable turnaround in recent weeks seems to be continuing, as Brett Pitman gives them a 1-0 lead away at Colchester.

Exeter have come from a goal down against Crawley to go 2-1 up, with the hosts having had Ashley Nadesan sent off at the end of the first half.

Northampton look on track for a second win a row as Fraser Horsfall has put them 3-0 up against Stevenage.

  3. goal

GOAL: Derby 2-1 Lutonpublished at 21:06 British Summer Time 19 October 2021

    Jason Knight (60 mins)

Derby retake the lead, and Tom Lawrence turns provider for Jason Knight this time.

It's a little ball in behind, Knight adjusts his run to stay onside and then scampers after it, setting himself before arrowing a fierce shot at goal.

Croatian goalkeeper Simon Sluga will be disappointed as it seemed to fly straight through him into the corner, but it was struck well.

    The Rams are rocking again.

  4. Postpublished at 21:04 British Summer Time 19 October 2021

    Sheff Utd 1-1 Millwall

Not a good few minutes for Sheffield United, who before Morgan Gibbs-White was sent off, saw David McGoldrick make his own personal claim for a spot on any Nick Hancock or Danny Baker bloopers tape.

The cross was perfect, McGoldrick launched himself at the loose ball at the far stick but couldn't divert it over the line. It was physics-defying stuff from the Blades man, who has so far featured a negative midas touch in front of goal.

  5. League One updatepublished at 21:03 British Summer Time 19 October 2021

Ipswich have gone 2-0 up away at Portsmouth with Conor Chaplin getting the visitors' second.

Sunderland are storming away at Crewe and have a third goal to make it 3-0, with Ross Stewart getting their latest after 55 minutes.

Accrington, meanwhile, are 2-1 up at Charlton.

  6. RED CARDpublished at 21:01 British Summer Time 19 October 2021

    Sheff Utd 1-1 Millwall

Sheffield United's Morgan Gibbs-White has been sent off for a second bookable offence.

His second yellow card was for simulation, tumbling in the box under a challenge from Scott Malone which did not make contact.

  7. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 21:00 British Summer Time 19 October 2021

    Bristol City 0-0 Nottingham Forest

Forest have the ball in the back of the net as Philip Zinckernagel's cross finds Lewis Grabban, who pokes the ball in.

Grabban's clearly offside though and the equaliser is ruled out.

  8. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:58 British Summer Time 19 October 2021

    QPR 0-0 Blackburn

    How close can you get!

Blackburn's Ben Brereton Diaz feeds Tayo Edun whose cross takes a wicked deflection off QPR's Yoann Barbet.

Luckily for the defender it cannons off the post and goes out for a corner.

  9. goal

GOAL: Stoke 0-1 Bournemouthpublished at 20:58 British Summer Time 19 October 2021

    Dominic Solanke (51 mins)

Breakthrough by the Cherries, and it's Dominic Solanke who tucks away the opener.

It all came from criminally poor play by Stoke at the back, snapped up by an eager Jefferson Lerma, who played in Ryan Christie.

His low skimmer was not held by Adam Davies in the Stoke goal, and there was Solanke to bury the loose ball into an empty net.

    Really disappointing for the hosts.

  10. goal

GOAL: Derby 1-1 Lutonpublished at 20:54 British Summer Time 19 October 2021

    Fred Onyedinma (48 mins)

Super sub Fred Onyedinma pops up with the leveller for Luton!

Long throw from the right is launched into the near post and flicked on, and Onyedinma dived in amongst the flailing legs to bury it at the far post.

Big celebrations. Nathan Jones rolled the dice with his first-half subs, and his number came up. Big call pays off.

  11. Postpublished at 20:53 British Summer Time 19 October 2021

    Sheff Utd 1-1 Millwall

Early tester in the second half from the left-hand side by Morgan Gibbs-White. It whizzes wide of Bartosz Bialkowski's goal.

Sheffield United have the bit between their teeth.

    • Bottom club Derby County are 1-0 up against Luton Town thanks to a goal from Tom Lawrence.
    • Billy Sharp's penalty just before the half-time whistle has put Sheffield United level with Millwall after Jed Wallace's early opener.
    • It's goalless between leaders Bournemouth and Stoke, and the same shoreline between QPR and Blackburn.
  16. 'Two well-matched sides'published at 20:39 British Summer Time 19 October 2021

    HT: Stoke 0-0 Bournemouth

    Ged Scott
BBC Sport at the Bet 365 Stadium

That has not been the best half of football I have ever seen.

And seeing the best player - Nick Powell - limp off halfway through has hardly helped any prospect of it getting any better after the break.

It's two well-matched sides, both working very hard.

But it was a feeble round of applause that greeted the half-time whistle.

And really it didn't even warrant that.

Can only hope the pies are good . . .

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:37 British Summer Time 19 October 2021

    Stoke 0-0 Bournemouth

Not lived up to the (Philip) Billing this one.

There's plenty of promise but no real solid breakthrough yet.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:36 British Summer Time 19 October 2021

    Derby 1-0 Luton

Derby lead this one after Tom Lawrence lashed in from the edge of the box.

Luton haven't really threatened. Much to do to avoid a 10th straight away defeat in visits to the Rams.

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:35 British Summer Time 19 October 2021

    Bristol City 1-0 Nottingham Forest

Are Bristol City about to win at home in the league for the first time since 26 January?

They're 45 minutes away after Alex Scott put them in front just before the break.

  20. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:35 British Summer Time 19 October 2021

    Sheff Utd 1-1 Millwall

Big equaliser from Billy Sharp on the cusp of half-time, after Jed Wallace caught out Robin Olsen to put Millwall in front.

It took a clumsy challenge to give the Blades a chance, after some excellent defending from the Lions on the back of their goal.
