  1. Thanks and goodbyepublished at 17:30 British Summer Time 23 October 2021

Thanks for your company today on what has been an elongated EFL live text.

We'll be back tomorrow for two Championship games, starting with the 12:30 BST start for the South Yorkshire derby between Barnsley and Sheffield United.

It was a good day for Championship leaders Bournemouth who won 3-0 against Huddersfield to go six points clear at the top but a bad day for Mick McCarthy, who left his position as Cardiff boss after an eighth straight loss by Middlesbrough in the early kick off.

Enjoy the rest of your evening.

    West Brom 3-0 Bristol City

West Brom go back up to second after a game where the football almost feels secondary.

A medical emergency in the home end delayed the start of the first half before a medical issue in the away end did the same before the second half.

We wish both fans all the very best.

    West Brom 3-0 Bristol City

West Brom had had a bit of a wobble after falling to a 2-1 away defeat at Swansea in midweek.

This puts them back up to second, although a Fulham win tomorrow would drop them back to third.

About 10 minutes to go in this one.

If you're just joining us, the first half of this was delayed because of a medical emergency in the home end and then the second was delayed because of a medical emergency in the away end.

The Baggies are set fair to go second in the table.

There's still just under 20 minutes of normal time left at the Hawthorns, where there have been two separate delays because of medical emergencies in the stands.

But make no mistake, this game is over as a contest.

  11. League Two updatepublished at 17:00 British Summer Time 23 October 2021

    Incredible drama at Rochdale!

95 minutes in and the home side have made it 3-2 against Sutton through Aaron Morley.

They initially led by two goals without reply before Matt Gray's side scored 82 and 90 minutes in to dramatically level the match.

Barrow leave it even later to equalise at Walsall courtesy of Josh Gordon. Two each at the death in a game that the Saddlers led twice.

    Luton 1-0 Hull

It wasn't a pretty second half but Elijah Adebayo's 17th-minute goal looks like being enough to lift Luton into the play-off places.

Hull improved slightly after the break but didn't pose enough of a threat and remain in the relegation zone.
