West Ham 1-1 Liverpool
The game is getting stretched now.
Liverpool looking to push forward to exploit the gaps, West Ham aiming to hit them on the counter.
Neither side can quite apply the final pass through.

Said Benrahma is causing Trent Alexander-Arnold problems because there's lots of space in behind, Liverpool full-backs like to get forward and he occupies that space so that West Ham can get out.
You have to work hard to play under David Moyes and he's bought into it. Credit to him and credit to David Moyes.

Dan: Fabianski is actually an underrated goalkeeper. Unfashionable and never gets enough love.

Now Mohamed Salah does have a chance to let fly, pick out following a bustling run from Sadio Mane but the Egyptian lashes a few yards out.

In this game alone Trent has been exposed defensively more than once by half time. Yes he is beckham-esque going the other way, but only Liverpool play that attacking.
Chris in Orpington
Best defensively is Kyle Walker
Anon (probably Kyle Walker)

Mohamed Salah has been shackled well by West Ham today, he gets a shot off but it is blocked.
Said Benrahma then carries the ball forward but it tugged back by goalscorer Trent Alexander-Arnold who is booked.

It's brilliant, the pass from Trent Alexander-Arnold to Andy Robertson, the ball across is even better. Sadio Mane's left-foot hit is straight at Lukasz Fabianski, but it's still a really good save.
If it's in the corner, it's a goal, but it's a difficult technique.
West Ham 1-1 Liverpool
Good save from Lukasz Fabianski, moving across his line to bat away Sadio Mane's thumping volley.
The Senegal international couldn't find the corner of the net.

It was a good delivery by Pablo Fornals. It's so unlucky, they are a threat from set pieces West Ham. Very close and really unlucky from Craig Dawson.
West Ham 1-1 Liverpool
And they are agonisingly close to scoring with their second corner.
It is whips into the six yard box, Alisson elects to stay on his line and sub Craig Dawson's header smashes the crossbar.
West Ham 1-1 Liverpool
West Ham earn their second corner of the game.
They scored with their first.
Who's the better player defensively though?
Thumbs up for Reece James.
Thumbs down for Trent Alexander-Arnold.

I don't ever want to hear any more discussion about who's the better Right Back for England after that. Sit down Reece James.

It was a brilliant half. West Ham started on the front foot, then Liverpool slowly came into the game and were the best team in the last half hour.
It was an outstanding equaliser from Trent Alexander-Arnold. He's been like that all season, he's been outstanding, one of the best right-backs.

Clear foul on Salah. I don't know how West Ham fans can complain about anything. They should be a man down.
James from Bedford
You see that foul in every game on all forwards. Feel because its Salah there will be an inquest

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta speaking to BBC Match of the Day on reaching 100 games as manager: "I'm just a baby in management, when I compare myself to someone like Claudio [Ranieri] for example. I am so honoured to be where I am."
On his side's improvement this season: "It shows the unity, the courage and the development of the team. We have achieved good results in the last two months but there is still a lot to do.
On Watford's complaints that Arsenal should have given the ball back prior to Emile Smith Rowe's goal: "I understand. Claudio mentioned it to me after the game but what can I say? It was never bad intentioned. It is not an intention."
On going 10 games unbeaten: "I feel a lot of unity around the club, among the players. I can see they players, the day before a match they are excited to play at the Emirates and the players on the bench are desperate to come in."
