    Arsenal 1-0 Watford

    Watford

Watford boss Claudio Ranieri, speaking to Sky Sports: "One thing I'd like to know, when there is a man on the ground, everyone expect the ball go back but they didn't go back. There isn't the respect in that situation. When Sarr on the big counter attack they fall on Sarr and then score the goal! That's it, but I am very happy with the performance.

"All the stadium was waiting on this. If you want to put the ball out you have to give the ball back.

"We are to improve when we go to press and to stay altogether and when we go on the counter attack to choose the best solution. Every match is a story and we are ready to fight against everybody."

  2. 'There was not the respect'published at 17:30 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2021

    FT: Arsenal 1-0 Watford

    Watford

Watford boss Claudio Ranieri, speaking to BBC Sport: "The performance was very good, especially the first half. Of course there was the penalty, right penalty, but Ben Foster made a fantastic save.

"I want to say something about the goal because when we put the ball out voluntary, everyone expect to give the ball back to you but there was not that respect from the Arsenal players.

"We fight a lot but we must be very calm when we have the right ball. We have a very good chance to draw the match. It is OK, we are building the basement and the basement is strong enough. Of course I want much better from my players but for the beginning I am happy.

"I am very confident with the club and the players and the fans and altogether we can see the 40 points."

This young man is on a different level at the moment.

This is brilliant, Alexander-Arnold just moves it, he just bends it right round the wall and into the corner, it's a fantastic finish. Lukasz Fabianski had no chance. It's a fantastic free-kick, it's pure class.

He's one of the best free-kick takers in the Premier League.
