Mark: Nothing wrong with that goal just shocking goal keeping.

    Have some of that.

West Ham full-back Aaron Cresswell with a thunderous challenge on Jordan Henderson, taking ball and man.

It's not a foul. Angelo Ogbonna's just going for the ball.

Liverpool are not happy, but Alisson has got to be stronger, if you're going to come, you need to take everything.

  9. 'Henderson just doesn't shut up'published at 16:38 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2021

    West Ham 1-0 Liverpool

    Nedum Onuoha
Former Manchester City defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Having played with Jordan Henderson and seen him up close and watched him, he just doesn't shut up. It can be really annoying, you'd much rather play with him than against him.

Some people will say he hasn't goth this or he hasn't got that, but I guarantee he's going to be relentless and he will affect the game. He'll always say 'there's a man,' or 'turn,' or 'that's great,' 'that's not great.'

To sum it up, when they beat Man United a few weeks ago, it could have been so easy for Liverpool to ease up, but he was one of the people that made sure the standard stayed the same. He made sure they kept that clean sheet and didn't give the ball away.

Realistically, you get that from a coach. When you have that in a player - what a blessing. That's why Jurgen Klopp is so happy to see him on the pitch. That is second to none, you can't really buy that.

    Alisson (own goal)

    WHAT A START!

West Ham have been dangerous on set-pieces this season and show exactly why.

Pablo Fornals swings in a corner which sails all the way in after Angelo Ogbonna challenges Alisson for the ball.

The Liverpool goalkeeper comes out and flaps at it, punching mostly thin air but he gets a skim on the ball and it goes down as an own goal

VAR has a look as to whether he was impeded but the goal stands.

West Ham v Liverpool (16:30 GMT)

    West Ham United

West Ham defender Ben Johnson on BBC Radio 5 Live when asked about Liverpool's Mohamed Salah:

"Incredible, faultless. He's scored however many goals this season and he's mirroring his form from a few seasons ago.

"Playing football and being in a dressing room, we don't really compare players, we just respect what they're doing if they're tearing it up.

"You can't deny what he's doing week after week, his consistency is world class. He's a fantastic player. Of course you want to play against him, but at the same time you want to be wary.

"To play on the same pitch as him would be great. I want to challenge myself against the best, and he's arguably the best player in the world."

At this precise moment, Mo Salah is the best player in the world. I know it's a big statement, but his numbers are up there with the best.

He's the complete striker, he doesn't even play as a number nine, he comes in from the right. For me, best player in the world.

We're never actually going to clear this up about obvious errors, we'll all disagree.

We've seen professionals, managers, people down the pub, we can't always agree on this wonderful game.

Ultimately, Hugo Lloris has touched the ball and it's not a penalty.

  19. Rodgers questions disallowed goalpublished at 16:20 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2021

    FT Leeds 1-1 Leicester

    Leicester City

Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers: "For us to put that effort in and show the courage to keep going, we created some great chances but failed to make the final pass and finishes. The supporters will go home proud of the team.

"We showed a great mentality, going behind and Harvey scored a brilliant goal. We were unfortunate with the goal disallowed. We had a good few moments in the right areas."

On Ademola Lookman's disallowed goal: "From what I have seen, the image with the line drawn shows he is a fraction offside. But the ball on contact I assume he is behind the ball."

  20. 'Ominous for West Ham'published at 16:17 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2021

West Ham v Liverpool (16:30 GMT)

    John Murray
    BBC Football Correspondent

Maybe it's ominous for West Ham that, incredibly, Mo Salah hasn't scored in his last couple of matches. It feels like he's actually stepped up again this season and we're actually seeing the best of him.

Defenders who know that they're going to play against him, they know that they've got to be at their best against this man.
