Why not give the youngsters a chance, it's great to see.

Cardiff have missed this for many years, young players coming through, I hope they can hold this game and gain a lot of experience.

It reminds me of my old days coming on.

The Middlesbrough bench celebrate and surely the end is looming now for Mick McCarthy.

His side have been better in this second half, but it doesn't look as if there's any way back from this.

Has the final blow been delivered by the ex-Bluebird Neil Warnock?

    Martin Payero

Middlesbrough double their leads as Martin Payero fires in his first goal for the club.

After good work from Uche Ikpeazu, Payero latched onto Andraz Sporar's lay-off and drilled a shot low into the net.

Is that the end of the contest - and is this a final act for Mick McCarthy at Cardiff?

Cardiff just need to stay in this, if they concede another one it'll kill the game.

They're winning the aerial battles, they're moving it so much better this second half.

Was it a cross or a shot? It's debatable - but either way Cardiff are relived.

Mark McGuiness needs to tread carefully.

He has already been booked and has just slid in on Uche Ikpeazu.

Kieffer Moore is obviously going to lift any team.

He's got a presence about him, he links up play, he's a defender's nightmare.

He's so big and strong with his headers and bringing players in, Colwill especially.

This is much better from Cardiff, albeit they couldn't be much worse.

It was an Absolutely Fabulous chance for James Collins, but he made it easy for Joe Lumley.

I'm only half sorry, bad puns are my thing.

Much better second half from Cardiff, they're really on the front foot.

Kieffer Moore has made a big difference since he came on.

They've obviously got to be a little bit cautious with Middlesbrough on the counter-attack, because they are leaving three at the back.
