What do you think? Should Switzerland have had a penalty? Press thumbs up for yes, thumbs down for no.
Sweden 0-0 Switzerland
Jonathan Avis: Scrap VAR, horrendous decision. It was a penalty all day long. It got scrapped. Incorrect decision. Should have stayed as a pen. They slowed the replay down so much and it takes away the aggressive nature of the foul. Horrendous. UEFA just scrap VAR.
Sweden 0-0 Switzerland
Seeing the penalty decision again, the ball had been played in to Noelle Maritz in the penalty area but she had miskicked the ball and lost possession seconds before Magdalena Eriksson's challenge.
However, the referee decided the contact was not as severe as she first thought and we continue at 0-0

A let-off for Sweden after Spanish referee Marta Huerta de Aza checks out the incident on a pitchside monitor and changes her original decision. No penalty.

But it's going to be checked and the referee is off to a pitchside monitor to have a look.

In fast motion it looks rather rash there.
She looks to have given the referee an easy decision.
On reflection though it's a lot closer.
Noelle Maritz of Switzerland's goes to ground under a challenge from Sweden and Chelsea defender Magdalena Eriksson and the referee points to the spot.
Sweden 0-0 Switzerland
Sweden get a free-kick in a dangerous position 30 yards out and Real Madrid's Kosovare Asllani floats in a cross and it finds Barcelona's Fridolina Rolfo free in the box but she can't direct her header goalwards.
But Swiss boss Nils Nielsen will not be happy at the amount of space Rolfo had in the middle of the penalty area.
Sweden 0-0 Switzerland
It has been a bright start from Sweden on a beautiful sunny day in Sheffield. Sweden win the ball in the midfield and it is slid through for Stina Blackstenius to chase, but it well defended by the Swiss.

It's going to be a really good battle between the two sides.
They both know they have to put on a good show today to give themselves a good chance in this competition.

I think Sweden need to show up if they want to try and win this tournament. Switzerland will be well organised but I expect Sweden to score goals.

Sweden made history by becoming the first ever women's European champions as they won the inaugural tournament in 1984, beating England 4-3 on penalties after the two-legged final had ended 1-1.
The second leg of that final took place at Luton Town's Kenilworth Road stadium with only 2,567 fans in attendance.
Since then, Sweden have lost in the final on three occasions - 1987, 1995 and 2001 - and also gone out in the semi-finals four times - 1989, 1997, 2005 and 2013.
Switzerland, by contrast, did not qualify for all of the first 11 tournaments and went out at the group stage in the Netherlands five years ago.

Sweden are physical monsters the way they play. Switzerland could struggle physically tonight.
