I've really enjoyed it. I've enjoyed the individual battles. I can't believe how quick the first half flew by. That just shows you the quality of the game and how entertaining it has been.

I think England will take that at half time. Sweden were very dangerous in the first 25 minutes and should have scored. Manchester United goalkeeper Mary Earps pulled off some important saves, though Sweden will be frustrated not to have capitalised. And if you give Beth Mead a chance like that in this mood, she will take it.

The goal settled England. What it will take in the next 45 is concentration and intelligence. England had to figure things out. They’ve worked it out and the grew into that half.

Sweden started very fast. I thought we were fortunate to still be in the game. We started nervy. We slowly got ourselves into it. Sweden are still a dangerous side.

Good signs from England. They are picking up the second balls and when they do they are attacking with real intent.

England are halfway to the final of Euro 2022.

Beth Mead's goal is the difference.

A big 45 minutes coming up, though. This Sweden side will not back down.

England have largely dominated since the goal.

Fran Kirby picks the ball up and drives to the edge of the box before chipping a tame shot wide.

A picture that says a thousand words. Look at those celebrations on and off the pitch.

Another good move from England almost yields an opening. Fran Kirby starts it and Beth Mead seeks out the charging Ellen White in the box, but a Sweden boot just nicks the ball.

England - and Bramall Lane - have really got the taste for this now. England have had to survive the odd scare but have always carried a threat of their own and now they have momentum and a lead to protect.

Sweden have shown enough, however, for England to know maximum concentration is required here.

Netherlands forward Vivianne Miedema is at Bramall Lane...wearing an England shirt. She's going to be happy right now. The Lionesses have Wembley in their sights.

The Lionesses certainly look a more coherent team now.

Georgia Stanway chests down and fires well over the bar from range.

As we have seen so often in this tournament, when England get the first goal, it seems to release them. They are straight on the attack again and instantly look more at ease.

Is that the moment England needed to really settle into this task? It had all been a bit frantic and frayed prior to that.

They are almost in again, with Georgia Stanway's low cross cut out by a Sweden defender, just ahead of Ellen White.
