Newcastle striker Callum Wilson to Amazon: "Difficult. Frustrating. We knew how big the game was. At 11 v 11 I think we'd win.

"Mistakes happen in football. We're not going to dig anyone out.

"I did [think his goal would be the winner]. We limited them to minimal clear-cut chances. It can be difficult for the team with the extra body sometimes.

"We kept the door shut until the end but it's a great finish.

"We can't feel sorry for ourselves. We pick ourselves up.

"We played football and controlled the game for parts of it. It's difficult to pick up different bits and bobs because we're outnumbered. We had spells without the ball."

Good football from Leeds again, and it results in the first shot on target of the match after 56 minutes. It's a neat move down the left, finding Adam Forshaw in the box and his effort deflects off a defender into the hands of Vicente Guaita.

It looked as if Newcastle were controlling the game. They gave away a goal which was a goalkeeping error, and they nearly gave another one away at the end there.

They need to cut out those errors if they want to stay up. As for Norwich, it’s another point and a good little run for them.

Rodrigo turns provider this time, dragging a cross along the ground to Dan James, who hits it on the spin but only into a red and blue shirt.

It was a poor game. The sending off had a big effect, but at 1-0, Norwich aren't causing any problems, and it's poor goalkeeping from Dubravka to let them back in.

Best chance of the game!

It's a rapid Leeds break and a superb, raking ball from Raphinha from one side of the pitch to the other and into the path of Dan James on the left.

The winger takes a touch and cuts it across goal for Rodrigo, who tries to flick it round the goalkeeper but overruns it. Huge moment.

It's all over. Newcastle remain bottom of the table with no wins from their first 14 games.

No team have ever stayed up without winning in their first 14 games.

Norwich are up to 18th, three points above the Magpies, and are unbeaten under Dean Smith.

Jordan Ayew carries Palace over the halfway line again but there are bodies down either end of the field - one is Cheikhou Kouyate after a collision with Adam Forshaw, just caught his ankle.

The midfielder is going to need some treatment.

Everyone except the keeper goes up.

And they almost win it.

Lukas Rupp has a shot blocked and then Pierre Lees-Melou's curling effort from the edge of the box is saved.

Norwich win a free-kick about 40 yards out. How brave will they be with sending men forward?

Conor Gallagher is going to have a dig, a yard or so outside the box to the right of the D. He hits the wall.

Fabian Schar almost costs Newcastle BIG TIME. He tries to run the ball out of defence and switches off. Pierre Lees-Melou wins the ball off him, races into the box and draws a save from Martin Dubravka.

This one has started just as quickly as the first half but the final ball has been lacking for both sides.

Jordan Ayew runs straight at Junior Firpo, twists the substitute one way and then the other and Firpo has to bring him down. Yellow card, and a free-kick right on the edge of the box.

Billy Gilmour wins the ball in midfield and finds Teemu Pukki, who spins and shoots first time but it's blocked.

Now Dimitrios Giannoulis' cross from deep is caught by the home keeper.

Adam Idah's introduction has given Norwich much more of an edge up front, even if he hasn't had a lot of success with his chances.
