Not a lot of goals about. There is plenty of tension, though. Could be some drama too in the second-half of these games. We're back under way at Southampton and Wolves.

Final Score at St Mary's
Can’t remember Brighton looking this unsteady. Huge gap between midfield and defence. Southampton are having a field day at times. They’ve played well, and carry the greater bite in midfield. But I imagine Graham Potter will tinker at half-time, or very soon after.
With Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool pulling clear at the top of the Premier League, The Football News Show assesses their chances and how the Africa Cup of Nations might have a bearing on where the title ends up.
HT: Newcastle 1-0 Burnley

FT: West Ham 3-2 Chelsea
Chelsea
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel, speaking to Match of the Day: "This is a goal that OK, happens, it happens because it happens, there are no mistakes, just a freak goal - the problem is that it is the winner.
"We had too many mistakes before in our game because the performance was OK, we created half chances and were in control. Overall we did too many individual mistakes. If you do this for three consecutive games you cannot expect always to get a result.
"This will not change, the schedule is the schedule and we need to overcome tiredness, mentally and physically, otherwise we have an excuse. We did not get a gift today from West Ham and they also played Europa League in between.
"The schedule we play and effort we play, sometimes you feel tired, but you just need to accept it and control our risk management. We hate to lose, we have to digest it now. It is not a performance to be mad about, but in detail we need to be better again.
"If we won the game nobody would have given us the title and if we lose it I don't think anybody else gets it this weekend."

Notwithstanding the fact many of the teams above them have games in hand, it is quite something that Newcastle can go 14 games without a win yet could be only 3 points off safety by the end of the day.

FT: West Ham 3-2 Chelsea
West Ham United
West Ham boss David Moyes speaking to Match of the Day, on the winning goal: "It was a great cross wasn't it! In football you take everything you get, we didn't play as well as we could so the good thing is we got three goals. The players showed great resilience, great character to come back from going behind twice.
"We lose a player and are messing around a little bit trying to patch up the team before half-time, it shows we have kept at it and got the rewards in the end."
On Chelsea's second and Ben Johnson's injury: "I was more annoyed Ben didn't cross it, because he chose to play square and inevitably Declan (Rice) and Thomas (Soucek) contrived to give it away and let them go, I would have hoped Ben would have got back (if not injured).
"When you are playing the European champions it was going to be difficult. We didn't play any better than we did in midweek, we had people who finished - Jarrod (Bowen) with a great finish, got a bit lucky with the third one. It is all fine margins and today they went slightly for us. He (Bowen) was terrific, he needs to play like that and was a goal threat.
"I thought Chelsea played really well at times and made it difficult for us."
On the schedule: "We all want football but you have to be careful not to take the players too far.
"I need us to be consistent and not just win one big game, I don't see it as a statement, I want us to play these teams and give them a game - this week alone we have had the Champions League finalists and Champions League winners. It is a good return from the two games."
Newcastle 1-0 Burnley
Newcastle are halfway to their first win of the campaign.
It's not been pretty, but it has been fiercely contested.
Newcastle 1-0 Burnley
Chance for 2-0!
Alain Saint-Maximin drives down the right and chips in a cross that is there to be hit by Joe Willock but sent over the bar by the ex-Arsenal midfielder.
Wolves 0-0 Liverpool
Not Liverpool's best half of football. They will miss the chance to go top if they don't win this.
Wolves 0-0 Liverpool
Wolves are ending the half on the front foot and Rayan Ait Nouri, after great skill on the left flank, completely screws his shot that probably goes out for a throw-in.
Newcastle 1-0 Burnley
Oh, Matej Vydra. What a waste.
Matt Lowton picks the forward out in acres of space in the box, but after chesting down the pass he snatches at the shot and sends it tamely over.
Southampton 1-0 Brighton
A very good game. It could be 3-1 easily - both sides have had chances.

Not really a massive surprise that the Newcastle v Burnley game is scrappy. Two teams lacking quality and fighting for their lives.

Newcastle 1-0 Burnley
Seeing the Newcastle goal again, I don't think it's a foul on Nick Pope. He drops the ball after falling on top of Fabian Schar, who knew little about it. The home defender certainly didn't intend to nod the ball out of the keeper's grasp.
Southampton 1-0 Brighton

Newcastle 1-0 Burnley
Newcastle are in the mood now. Joelinton gets away and carries the ball before firing a shot that is blocked. Jonjo Shelvey follows up but his effort also smacks into a Burnley defender.
Southampton 1-0 Brighton
Brighton captain Shane Duffy was lucky to avoid a booking earlier on but he gets one now for clattering Armando Broja.
Newcastle 1-0 Burnley
Jermaine Beckford
Ex-Everton striker on Final Score
I don't think there was a foul there. Callum Wilson gambles, picks the ball up and takes it around the defenders, lifts it into the back of the net, brilliant finish.
Newcastle 1-0 Burnley
Prior to the goal, I was beginning to wonder where a Newcastle goal was coming from. But that error from Pope and fine finish from Wilson has provided the answer.
