James Tomkins almost scores his second goal in a week as Conor Gallagher's cross reaches him at the back post. He takes a touch but shoots at Willy Caballero.

Now Aaron Connolly is down and holding his head. The replays show that Jose Sa smashed him in the back of the head during the taking of a corner. That was naughty. No further action taken, though.

What a start for Crystal Palace. It's going to be a long evening for Southampton and it makes it very difficult going a goal down so early away from home - and especially the form Palace are in.

Crystal Palace have scored inside the opening two minutes of a Premier League game for only the sixth time.

Three of them have come this year, including against Southampton in May.

Palace are up from 13th to eighth as things stand. They're starting to fly under Patrick Vieira, who is doing a very good job at Selhurst Park.

No real response from Southampton to that goal.

Hwang Hee-Chan is back on and trying to carry on. It looked certain his game was done.

Albion are in the ascendancy, though. Enock Mwepu has a shot from range that Jose Sa saves.

That's four goals conceded in 92 minutes for Willy Caballero at Southampton.

His last clean sheet was September 2020, although to be fair this is only his third game since then.

Hwang Hee-Chan is down and in pain. He flattens Tariq Lamptey and immediately holds his left thigh. Not what Wolves need with Raul Jimenez already absent.

Brighton's turn to threaten but Wolves end the danger when Ruben Neves goes down holding his head. He's up pretty quickly as soon as the whistle is blown, though.

Albion really have had the heart ripped out of their defence for this game. Wolves will want to put this home back four under plenty of pressure.
