    Crystal Palace 1-2 Southampton

A good double save from Willy Caballero denies Odsonne Edouard. The Palace striker gets in behind but Caballero makes himself big and saves with his chest. The rebound, from a tight angle, is kept out by the 40-year-old's arm.

  2. Postpublished at 20:46 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2021

    Brighton 0-1 Wolves

Here we go. Marcal goes down holding his face to halt a Brighton attack. He barely got touched, though. We've seen these antics before.

    Arsenal 0-0 West Ham

    Huge Gunners chance goes begging!

Alexandre Lacazette's shot is pushed away by Lukasz Fabianski. In comes Gabriel Martinelli to follow up but with the West Ham keeper scrambling to his knees to apply pressure he sends his shot wide.

Paul: West Ham in 4th vs Arsenal in 6th. Both average. Man Utd in 5th are no good either. I know the top 3 are brilliant sides but it’s pathetic how far ahead of the rest Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea are.

Dr James G. Gilmore: Brighton desperately need to use the January transfer window to get someone who can actually finish putting the ball in the net. Insane how consistently they dominate on the ball and get 99% of the way there, only to whiff on the chance to put it away.

  5. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:43 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2021

    Brighton 0-1 Wolves

Albion's goal is living a charmed life!

Ruben Neves' cross is flicked to the back post where Romain Saiss is waiting to hammer a volley against the post.

A lick of paint from 2-0 and two goals for the big defender.

  6. Postpublished at 20:42 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2021

    Arsenal 0-0 West Ham

    Mark Schwarzer
Former Middlesbrough & Fulham keeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Arsenal's best moment of the game and they really did apply a lot of pressure onto West Ham. I think Fabianski was a little bit fortunate; he didn't get a great sight in the shot but just got enough on it.

  7. Postpublished at 20:42 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2021

    Brighton 0-1 Wolves

We've had a lengthy stoppage here as ref Tony Harrington gets his communication equipment fixed. Just what you need on your Premier League debut. There's going to be plenty of time added to the end of this game now.

  8. Postpublished at 20:41 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2021

    Crystal Palace 1-2 Southampton

Palace haven't had a shot on target since the 10th minute. Jordan Ayew's cross is over everyone.

  9. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:41 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2021

    Arsenal 0-0 West Ham

    A proper bar rattler!

A massive sliding block from Craig Dawson prevents Martin Odegaard firing on target but the ball falls to Kieran Tierney, who lashes an effort that Lukasz Fabianski tips on to the bar.

  10. Postpublished at 20:38 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2021

    Crystal Palace 1-2 Southampton

This was the first time Southampton conceded first but went in at half-time ahead in a Premier League game since February 2018 against West Brom.

  11. Postpublished at 20:38 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2021

    Arsenal 0-0 West Ham

    Alistair Bruce-Ball
Commentator on BBC Radio 5 Live

Arsenal would've been very unhappy had that West Ham chance gone in because it was created from a free-kick that I think Tomas Soucek basically dived to win. Alexandre Lacazette made a challenge but I don't think he made any contact with Soucek whatsoever.

  12. Postpublished at 20:38 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2021

    Crystal Palace 1-2 Southampton

Wilfried Zaha pings in a low cross from the left after surging away from his defender but Mohammed Salisu hacks it away.

  13. Postpublished at 20:37 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2021

    Brighton 0-1 Wolves

    Big save by Robert Sanchez!

Adama Traore puts in Trincao in the Brighton box but his low shot is pushed aside by the home keeper.

Wolves have come out punching this half.

  14. Postpublished at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2021

    Crystal Palace 1-2 Southampton

Palace have started the half on the front foot. Conor Gallagher gets the ball in the box but can't find an inch of space to shoot.

  15. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2021

    Brighton 0-1 Wolves

    So close to 2-0!

Marcal's clipped cross hits the face of the bar and is then cleared by Marc Cucurella.

Albion have struggled so badly for goals. A 2-0 deficit would likely be terminal for their hopes in this game.

  16. Postpublished at 20:34 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2021

    Arsenal 0-0 West Ham

    Close!

West Ham's Pablo Fornals curls an effort from the edge of the box that whips just past the far post.

Another contested foul. Alexandre Lacazette sticks out a boot and down goes Tomas Soucek on the right edge of the Arsenal box. Was there much contact?

Tom Miszkowski: Take nothing away from the strike from Ward-Prowse but that's not a free-kick for me. Would be nice if VAR got involved in something other than offsides, red cards and penalties.

James Ward-Prowse is class. No wonder Villa tried to sign him and I am surprised that more of the top teams haven't tried to add him to their number.
