    Some of the chasing pack picked up some key victories, including Blackburn Rovers getting the better of their Lancashire rivals Preston at Ewood Park thanks to Ben Brereton Diaz's 17th goal of the season.

    Elsewhere, West Brom kept themselves in third as they beat Coventry City in the lunchtime kick-off.

    There were also wins for Luton, Bristol City, Sheffield United, Middlesbrough, Millwall and Nottingham Forest.

    A crucial point for Barnsley at home to Huddersfield and Hull City at Reading were the two other results.

    This weekend's Championship action began on Friday night, not too many miles away from where we are this afternoon at Craven Cottage.

    Leaders Fulham hosted second-placed Bournemouth in a meeting of the two top goal-scoring sides.

    And the match didn't disappoint as chances aplenty for both teams saw Bournemouth take the lead seconds into the second half through Dominic Solanke before Tosin Adarabioyo netted his first goal for Fulham with a glancing header six minutes from time to see the points shared and positions left as they were.

    Women's FA Cup final, FA Cup second round and Premier League action

    There's absolutely no shortage of football across BBC Sport this afternoon.

    At Wembley Stadium, it's the Women's FA Cup final between Arsenal and Chelsea which you can watch live on BBC One as well as following here across the BBC Sport website and app.

    Chelsea have a 2-0 lead just past the hour mark thanks to Fran Kirby's early finish and a second from her strike partner Sam Kerr a few moments ago.

    Meanwhile, the men's FA Cup second round is also continuing this afternoon with four ties, which will be rounded-off by Salford City against Chesterfield on the BBC Sport website and app from 17:15 GMT.
