FT: Motherwell 1-6 Rangers
Motherwell manager Graham Alexander tells BBC Scotland: "That was painful. For 42 minutes we offered a threat and got our goal. Three minutes before half-time we were 1-0 up and comfortable in what we were doing, and three minutes later we're behind, and I've been a player, it hits you hard.
"In the second half we wanted to maintain what we did in the first half but the sending off took that away from us and the game got away from us.
"We're all very disappointed, but there's a long way to go and we've done some good things this season. We have to learn from this and become better from it. We know this result isn't going to define our season, it's what we do after this."

FT: Motherwell 1-6 Rangers
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard told Sky Sports: "It was really emphatic. We played with real quality.
"Obviously, we got off to another set-back early on but I thought we dealt with that and managed that really well. We showed great character to get back in a good place before half-time.
"And then we just went on. I think that's been coming, it's almost been in the post. We've been waiting for that performance for some time. It was back to our identity. I thought we were an inch away from being perfect today, all round we were superb.
"Fashion's been waiting to do that. He's shown glimpses, he's shown flashes. He's gone and delivered for his team today."
FT: Motherwell 1-6 Rangers
Rangers hat-trick scorer Fashion Sakala told Sky Sports: "I'm getting there. We don't stop learning. Not yet settled but I think I'm getting there.
"I really feel motivated with the people I have in the club. I believe there's more to come. I have to keep on believing.
"The past few games we've come from behind. It would be more important for us to be the first one to score."

Quote MessageFashion Sakala will get the headlines, strikers always do especially when they score a hat-trick, but the performance of Steven Davis has been a joy to watch
Rangers move four points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership after arguably their best performance of the season.
Fashion Sakala will take most of the headlines after scoring his first hat-trick for Rangers, with James Tavernier, Glen Kamara and Kemar Roofe also on target.
Motherwell brought a lot to the first half, during which Bevis Mugabi put them in front, but they were overwhelmed after the visitors got level.
Kemar Roofe, 90+1 mins
The substitutes combine as Jack Simpson heads on James Tavernier's corner and Kemar Roofe knocks the ball over the line from close range.
The corner came after Liam Kelly's impressive save kept out Scott Wright's curving shot but Rangers were not to be denied a sixth.
Fashion Sakala, 86 mins - Hat-trick
Fashion Sakala has just secured the match ball.
The striker is waiting menacingly at the back post to meet Steven Davis' ball from the left and does just enough to nudge the ball past Liam Kelly.
Three goals for Sakala today and four overall for Rangers, all against Motherwell.

Quote MessageIt's far too easy. It's a short corner, no-one from Motherwell gets out. I'm just wondering if Connor Goldson got a slight touch on it
