Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has been waving frantically to try to attract the attention of his defenders to push up more. Manchester City have got Chelsea penned in and Tuchel knows that could spell trouble.

Both teams have looked at their best, looked like they're going to create something when they've got space to run into.

Chelsea have shown a huge amount of respect to City here, they've gone with five across the back for large parts with a flat four in front.

Raheem Sterling is having a lot of fun. He Cruyff turns inside Marcos Alonso as he tries to link-up with Bernardo Silva.

There's enough Chelsea bodies around to stop them but City will come at them again as it's pumped straight through to Ederson.

Joao Cancelo drills one in but Antonio Rudiger is there to make the block.

Cesar Azpilicueta has just been caught a few times in behind.

Jack Grealish moves it on to Kevin de Bruyne on the left but it's comfortable for Kepa at the near post.

Bernardo Silva slips it through the legs of Malang Sarr and it rolls close to Raheem Sterling.

Sterling doesn't expect it to reach him so reacts slow and it dribbles past him and the post.

Phil Foden is pressed and hurried until he loses the ball in the middle. Chelsea go down the left but Hakim Ziyech's pass won't reach Romelu Lukaku.

Jack Grealish backheels it to Joao Cancelo but Antonio Rudiger is in the way again and he wins a free-kick in the corner.

Why didn't Romelu Lukaku shoot when he had Chelsea's best chance of the game? Seemed to pass on responsibility to Hakim Ziyech, who was offside anyway.

A sign the £97.5m striker needs something to lift his confidence after his recent troubles.

Thomas Tuchel is furious on the sidelines. Chelsea have had a few glimpes on the break but the pass/decision has been poor.

Chelsea have dropped a bit deeper now, which is probably wise. City have to go all the way back as they switch it from left to right.

Eventually it comes to Raheem Sterling, he beats Marcos Alonso, goes inside and Malang Sarr comes across to concede another corner.

Phil Foden skews the set-piece straight out.

Raheem Sterling whips it in from the left but John Stones' header is straight at Kepa.

That's the sign of a striker lacking in confidence, who's trying to please people and who doesn't really know who he is.

Cesar Azpilicueta then flicks Raheem Sterling's cross away, before Cancelo's curling effort is deflected behind for a corner.

Jack Grealish has a go at Antonio Rudiger but the Chelsea defender comes out on top, keeping track all the way until Grealish loses control near the byline.

Henry: Not only are Chelsea at bare bones at the back, they've played three games since New Year's day while City had one against Swindon. COVID aside, City with a huge scheduling advantage here and already look much fresher.
