    Rochdale 0-0 Plymouth

As we hit the sixth minute supporters of both sides begin a minute's applause in memory of young Birmingham City fan Arthur Labinjo-Hughes.

The six-year-old was tortured and killed by his father and stepmother after social workers found "no safeguarding concerns".

Emma Tustin was this week jailed for 29 years for murder and child cruelty and Thomas Hughes got 21 years for manslaughter.

    Rochdale v Plymouth (12:15 GMT)

Both sides emerge at the Crown Oil Arena and on to a pitch that looks remarkably decent given the amount of rain that lashed parts of the north west yesterday.

  8. Kit choice to help colour blindpublished at 12:13 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December 2021

    Rochdale v Plymouth (12:15 GMT)

With this lunchtime's tie being shown on ITV, Rochdale and Plymouth have chosen to wear kit combinations to help those with colour blindness to distinguish between the sides.

Dale will wear their normal blue shirts but with black shorts and socks, while Argyle will wear their all-white change kit rather than their traditional green.

  9. A long wait...published at 12:11 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December 2021

This afternoon's second-round tie at the Crown Oil Arena has been a long time in the making.

It is just the second FA Cup meeting between the two sides - the other coming 100 years ago in January 1921 when Plymouth won 2-0.

And the stats favour the Pilgrims today.

Rochdale are winless in their past four home games in the FA Cup, while Argyle have won their past five matches in the competition against sides from a lower division.

    Nailed on upset then surely?
