When St Johnstone fans watched their team complete the cup double at an empty Hampden back in May, you can bet many didn't believe they would be back to watch them in person at the national stadium just six months later.

Saints fans deserve this day out for what they missed last season. You can guarantee that will be the message from boss Callum Davidson to his players before they make their way out the tunnel.

Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart is making his first trip back to Scotland's national stadium since Leigh Griffiths whipped two free-kicks over his England wall to send the Tartan Army wild in June 2017.

We all know what happened next...

Griffiths - now on loan at Dundee - will obviously not be in action today, but don't blame the former Manchester City stopper for getting a bit hazy if St Johnstone line a set-piece up on the edge of the box...

Monday's Scotland euphoria has just about faded at Hampden.

Emotion will be high, however, with Celtic playing their first game since the passing of club legend Bertie Auld earlier this week.

And what a game it is set to be, with Ange Postecoglou aiming to get to his first Scottish domestic cup final.

A display is planned for 'Lisbon Lion' Auld, which can be seen scattered across the seats in the Celtic end in the west stand.
