  1. Post update

So, we got that Sadio Mane v Mohamed Salah showdown in the end.

Join us again at the weekend to see which of Senegal or Egypt win the Africa Cup of Nations.

I'll leave you with the moment that sealed Egypt's spot in Sunday's big showdown...

Cameroon 0-0 Egypt (Egypt win 3-1 on pens)

    Yaya Toure

Former Man City midfielder on BBC Three

It seems to me like Cameroon did not prepare for the penalties. When I was with Ivory Coast, after each session we have a training shoot-out. It did not look like they had done that. As soon as they missed one, there was pressure and more pressure. And you see with N'Jie, I don't know what was going through his head.

  3. Post update

Cameroon 0-0 Egypt (Egypt win 3-1 on pens)

    Nedum Onuoha

Former Manchester City defender on BBC Three

Whenever you see a team in a huddle ahead of a shoot-out, you never see someone who is really angry because they have not been selected to take a penalty. It is because it is a very tough situation. People who want to take one it doesn't mean they are ready for the moment.

Stuart Mitchell: Some of the worst penalties I've seen in a while from Cameroon. Even the one they scored would easily have been saved if keeper went right way.

  5. Post update

Cameroon 0-0 Egypt (Egypt win 3-1 on pens)

    Lauren

Former Arsenal defender on BBC Three

The two players that missed their penalties, they are young lads. It is a lack of experience in these type of games. Maybe some of the more experienced players should have stepped up.

  6. Post update

Cameroon 0-0 Egypt (Egypt win 3-1 on pens)

    Yaya Toure

Former Man City midfielder on BBC Three

Egypt deserve their win. They have been playing really well defensively. I don't know if Vincent Aboubakar had one shot on target. They frustrated Cameroon.

  7. Queiroz back to celebrate

    Nick Cavell

    BBC Africa Sport in Cameroon

The Egypt coach Carlos Queiroz is back to celebrate with his players.

Some of the Cameroon players go to thank the few fans left in the stadium but they seemed to get booed for their efforts.

As soon as the second Cameroon penalty was saved the stadium started emptying rapidly.

Conversely the Egypt fans are hailing their team.

  8. Post update

Cameroon 0-0 Egypt (Egypt win 3-1 on pens)

    Nedum Onuoha

Former Manchester City defender on BBC Three

If Senegal play their style and Egypt have to rise to that, I think Senegal could win it easily. But if Egypt can make Senegal play as they did with Cameroon here, where they didn't do that much after being top scorers in the tournament. Egypt will try to make it tight. I would like Senegal to score first as that will make for a better game.

  9. Post update

It wasn't a good semi-final. And Egypt are not a very fun watch. But they nailed that shoot-out.

  10. Post update

Joy for Egypt. They mob keeper Mohamed Abougabal, their hero. Cameroon players on the turf. There'll be tears.

Oh, and here comes Carlos Queiroz to enjoy the fun. He'll be absent from the touchline in the final after his red card. He can revel in this, though.

  11. EGYPT ARE INTO THE AFCON FINAL!

Mohamed Salah not even required in the shoot-out.

  12. MISSED PENALTY - Cameroon 1-3 Egypt

    Clinton N'Jie

The ex-Spurs man misses it! The keeper goes the wrong way but it's the wrong side of the post.

  13. GOAL - Cameroon 1-3 Egypt

    Mohamed Lasheen

Egypt send the keeper the wrong way again.

  14. SAVED - Cameroon 1-2 Egypt

    James Lea Siliki

Gabaski saves again! This penalty was better, he had to get down to his left to keep it out.

  15. GOAL - Cameroon 1-2 Egypt

    Mohamed Abdelmonem

Nice. Keeper goes the wrong way.

  16. SAVED - Cameroon 1-1 Egypt

    Harold Moukoudi

Another late sub... Saved by Gabaski. It was too central.

  17. GOAL - Cameroon 1-1 Egypt

    Zizo

The late sub. This might be his first touch. A Jorginho run-up and finish into the bottom corner.

  18. GOAL - Cameroon 1-0 Egypt

    Vincent Aboubakar

The Afcon top scorer slots home.

  19. Post update

OK. Here we go. Cameroon up first...

  20. Post update

    Cameroon 0-0 Egypt

Cameroon coach Antonio Conceicao has done his work. Egypt boss Carlos Queiroz is having to sweat this out in the changing room.
