    Northern Ireland 9-0 North Macedonia

So, Northern Ireland bring the curtain down on a hugely impressive and history-making 2021 with a 9-0 thumping of North Macedonia.

Having won the reverse fixture 11-0 on Thursday, Kenny Shiels’ side were again imperious as they saw off the visiting minnows with ease.

It takes them up to second in the group, at least until England and Austria play tomorrow night, as they make it four wins from their six World Cup qualifying games so far.

The match away to Austria next year is likely to prove decisive as the two countries fight it out for second place with England likely to be runaway leaders.

For now, though, Shiels and his players can bask in another joyous night at a sold-out Seaview,

A Seaview stroll for Northern Ireland as they hammer North Macedonia 9-0 to move second in their World Cup qualifying group.

Rachel Furness broke the all-time Northern Ireland goalscoring record with her 37th and 38th goals, while Kirsty McGuinness bagged a hat-trick.

Rebecca Holloway got two, Simone Magill finally got the goal her all-action display deserved while Kerry Beattie got her first international goal in injury time.

That's 20 without reply in two games against North Macedonia for Kenny Shiels' side. Can't argue with that.
