It’s a clash of two automatic promotion hopefuls in League Two!

Third-placed Northampton are seeking revenge after losing to table-topping Forest Green 1-0 earlier this season. Eleven points separate the two at the half-way stage of the season.

Remember, the top three go up in the fourth tier, so both will be happy with this after another 23 games.

Rob Edwards' Rovers will be looking to get all three points with striker Jamille Matt having scored eight goals in his last eight games.

Northampton’s "bouncebackability" will be up for questioning after a rare home defeat to Crawley town (1-0) on Tuesday night.

Let’s see what they’ve got at the Sixfields!

League One has been a joy to watch this season. There are so many teams looking to get out of this division that it feels like it will all go down to the wire.

We’re a long way from that though and perhaps, with so many teams going for it, it’s allowed some to play without feeling the pressure and express themselves a little more.

That’s certainly the case for these two facing off at Adams Park today. Wycombe followed up their absolutely bonkers 3-3 draw with Sunderland with a creditable 2-0 win at Bolton in midweek to consolidate third spot. They’ll be desperate to get back into the Championship after last season’s somewhat controversial relegation.

Oxford United on the other hand, are looking to recover after a surprising 2-0 loss at Lincoln last week. Karl Robinson’s side have generally taken a "we’ll score one more then you" approach to games and it’s been working out for the Us. Prior to Lincoln, they’d only lost once since October.

Gareth Ainsworth’s Wanderers are packed with quality and experience, which could give them the edge but in 10-goal Matt Taylor, Oxford have a man who can be a match-winner against any side.

Let’s hope for a classic at Adams Park!
