    Not great this.

Valerien Ismael has some big issues. When he went to Barnsley he inherited a young squad that had been working towards that high-pressing, high-energy identity that he likes.

But at West Brom, although there is more quality and experience, the players aren't used to those methods.

There are some question marks over the style of football at the moment, but I don't think this is an Ismael squad.

    Barnsley still in this.

They've thrown on 18-year-old Aiden Marsh for his professional debut.

Regan Hendry has added the icing to the vegan Victoria sponge for Forest Green who are now 4-0 in front at second-placed Tranmere, opening a 10-point gap at the top in the process.

Mansfield have added a second at home to Leyton Orient through Ollie Clarke and Nathan Smith has opened the scoring for Port Vale at home to Scunthorpe.

Tom Nichols has equalised for Crawley at Bradford, the score currently 1-1.

    QPR 4-0 Reading

Luke Southwood won't be asking for the DVD of this game as Reading goalkeeper, but despite that fact he has still made some telling saves.

The pick of the bunch has been strong fingertips to push away a Lyndon Dykes effort, as he chased a hat-trick, with a thunderous strike.

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Coventry

There's a seemingly personal battle going on between Boro goalkeeper Joe Lumley and Coventry striker Viktor Gyokeres.

Gyokeres has tried everything to beat the former QPR keeper, but he just keeps getting there.

He had a similarly frustrating evening in midweek, before netting the winner against Stoke. Can he repeat the feat here?

Oh dear, oh dear. West Brom fans look away now.

Benik Afobe doubles Millwall's money with a quality finish.

Baggies boss Valerien Ismael might be looking for alternative employment quite soon...

There's been a short delay at Gresty Road after the assistant referee was hit by an object in front of the travelling Rotherham fans.

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 16:30 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2022

    Fulham 1-0 Blackpool

In case you've only just joined us, Fulham's game with Blackpool was held up because of a medical emergency in the crowd, with a supporter taken to hospital.

On the pitch, Aleksandar Mitrovic gave Fulham an early lead in this one before the stoppage.

Harry Wilson might have added a second before the break but was twice denied by Daniel Grimshaw.

Blackpool have been decent since coming back out, but it's still Fulham ahead.

Play-off contenders Swindon have taken the lead away to Colchester through Harry McKirdy.

Barrow have halved the deficit away to Newport with Mickey Demetriou putting through his own net.

    Hull 2-0 Swansea

Hull so close to a third!

Tom Eaves' effort squirms out of the grasp of goalkeeper Tom Hamer but Kyle Naughton gets back to get it off the line.

  13. Postpublished at 16:29 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2022

    QPR 4-0 Reading

Might not have made much difference to the result, but Reading came close just a moment ago when Tom Dele-Bashiru just put a shot wide after a cross was pumped back across goal.

David Marshall must cherish his clean sheet bonus too, because he's pulled off a worldie to deny Lucas Joao, as the Portuguese striker puts an effort at goal. Stunner.

Rangers have made a change, with Dion Sanderson coming on as a substitute for his debut.

It's a bad day at the office for second-placed Sunderland as Lee Johnson's side are now 4-0 behind at University of Bolton Stadium, Kieran Lee with the latest for Bolton.

Daniel Udoh has scored an equaliser for Shrewsbury away to Wimbledon, the score currently 1-1.

Things REALLY not going well for West Brom.

They fall behind as Mason Bennett's close range effort after a set piece finds its way into the net.

  17. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:23 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2022

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Coventry

It's all going on at the Riverside.

Paddy McNair wobbles the woodwork with a header for Middlesbrough, as Coventry avoid conceding a second by inches.

Before that, Joe Lumley took to the air to touch over a header from Sky Blues playmaker Callum O'Hare.

Two teams making the best of the conditions.

  19. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:22 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2022

    Fulham 1-0 Blackpool

Still the first half of course at Craven Cottage after an earlier medical emergency in the crowd.

Fulham almost had their lead wiped out, but Josh Bowler's effort touched the bar and to safety rather than nestling in the back of the net.

Blackpool have looked much more competitive in this one.

    Luton 0-0 Blackburn

Not much to describe from the second half at Kenilworth Road.

Tom Lockyer cut down Sam Gallagher for Luton and got a booking for it.

John Buckley put a free-kick directly at James Shea, for a Rovers chance.
