Quote MessageNisbet will probably be quite happy to have Doidge up next to him. He can share the workload instead of being up there himself.
Hibernian 0-0 Dundee
Concern for Hibernian as Chris Cadden hits the deck. Looks like a knee injury.
Christian Doidge is coming on. Martin Boyle might have to drop back to wing-back, with Doidge up top with Nisbet?
We shall see.
Hibernian 0-0 Dundee
Paul McMullan whips in a far better free kick this time, and Hibernian striker Kevin Nisbet leaves it at the front post.
Fortunately for him, it skips up off the turf and into Matt Macey's arms.
That might have been costly for Hibs.

Quote MessageYou can see Dundee are now starting the play their game in Hibs's half now. They could have had a real chance if they played a better cross in there.
Hibernian 0-0 Dundee
Dundee's Cammy Kerr makes a great run down the right and Paul McMullan slips him in.
Paul Hanlon gets over to shut down his cross, which was crucial as Ryan Sweeney was waiting for a tap in.
Hibernian 0-0 Dundee
Paul McGowan forces Hibs goalkeeper Matt Macey into a decent save.
A poor free kick from Paul McMullan is cleared by Joe Newell but only to the feet of the Dundee midfielder, who strikes the bouncing ball goalward.
Good stop, though.
Hibernian 0-0 Dundee
Ryan Porteous is screaming for a penalty.
The Hibs defender was attacking the ball from a corner and hit the deck under pressure from a blue shirt. Probably would have been extremely soft.
Plus, the corner it came from should never have been a corner.

Quote MessageEvery time Boyle gets the ball he wants to get at the Dundee defence. He's a hard player to play against and his delivery has got much, much better over the years.

Quote MessageIt has certainly been a tough start for Dundee's central defenders tonight.
Hibernian 0-0 Dundee
Martin Boyle has been lively so far.
He drives down the right and whips in a cross for Paul Hanlon, who heads wide.
Hibernian 0-0 Dundee
Martin Boyle gets away from Liam Fontaine this time and the Dundee defender has hauled him down.
He's a tad fortunate not to join his defensive partner Ryan Sweeney into the book!
Hibernian 0-0 Dundee
Not a great start for Dundee centre-back Ryan Sweeney who goes into the book for a trip on Martin Boyle.
Paul McGinn's header is then straight at Adam Legzdins.
Hibernian 0-0 Dundee
Hibernian's two key attackers - Martin Boyle and Kevin Nisbet - had only 25 touches of the ball between them in the 1-1 draw at St Mirren on Saturday.
The touch map below shows very few of them were in dangerous positions in the box.
That will likely have to change tonight if they want an improved attacking display.
Hibernian 0-0 Dundee
A decent opening for Hibs as Chris Cadden finds Josh Campbell in the box, but the midfielder miscues his shot.
Hibernian 0-0 Dundee
We're under way at Easter Road!
Hibernian v Dundee (19:45)
Luke McCowan grabbed two goals against Ross County on Saturday, and had more shots than anyone on the pitch, as well as winning the ball back for Dundee more than any of his team-mates.
The 24-year-old, along with Paul McMullan, will look to ignite Dundee's attack tonight.
McMullan put in a staggering 14 crosses at the weekend, and also made four key passes while getting in the second-most passes and touches in his side.
Influential.
Hibernian v Dundee (19:45)
Dundee were on a good run recently, beating St Mirren, Motherwell and St Johnstone amid defeats by Celtic and Rangers.
The loss to Ross County on Saturday was disappointing, though, and means they are just two points off the bottom, having also played a game more than both County and St Johnstone below them.

Quote MessageWhoever it is that comes in will be coming into a great club. For me first and foremost, it's the vision. It's how they're going to play football going forward and not just in the first team but right throughout the club. Attacking football with good ball retention.

Dundee's last win at Easter Road? 27 October 2001.
Gavin Rae and Steven Milne scored the goals in a 2-1 win, with Craig Brewster scoring for Hibs.
It's zero wins in 14 attempts since. Will tonight be the night?
Their last win against Hibs at any venue came in 2013 - with current Dundee striker Leigh Griffiths scoring the consolation for the Leith side in a 3-1 loss at Dens.
