"It's a slightly different test, against a team with a lot of energy, who have gone very strong, and have a lot of quality in forward areas.

"A large part of game is how we deal with the out of possession matters, their attacking numbers but also how can we use the wide areas of the pitch and attack ourselves.

"These games you have to relish them. We are excited, we know the test ahead of us."

    Caolan Boyd-Munce

  11. Postpublished at 12:27 Greenwich Mean Time 8 January 2022

    Mansfield 0-1 Middlesbrough

Boro are playing in their traditional red and white. They've picked up under Chris Wilder and they're made a decent start against tricky League Two opponents. The home fans were making lots of noise before kick-off. Not so much now.

    Burnley v Huddersfield (12:30 GMT)

    Stephen Warnock
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

The team that Sean Dyche has been able to field is a very strong team, which should win the game. But they are low on confidence and they need to pick themselves up.

  20. Boreham Wood to beat Dons?published at 12:11 Greenwich Mean Time 8 January 2022

Boreham Wood v AFC Wimbledon (15:00 GMT)

    Mark Lawrenson
    BBC football expert

    I'm predicting an upset.

Boreham Wood are 10 games unbeaten in all competitions and fourth in the National League.

Their manager, Luke Garrard, was a fans' favourite when he played for AFC Wimbledon as they rose up through non-league so this was a great draw for him.

Whoever gets through will be hoping for one of the big boys next.

    Lawro's prediction: 1-0
