  1. CLOSE!published at 21:28 British Summer Time 2 June 2022

    Northern Ireland 0-1 Greece

Kyle Lafferty stands over it.....and it's not far away!

He gets good curl on the ball and it dips onto the roof of the net.

How many more chances will Northern Ireland get to rescue a point?

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:27 British Summer Time 2 June 2022

    Northern Ireland 0-1 Greece

Dion Charles gallops past a couple of players and is scythed down by Georgios Tzavellason the edge of the area.

    This is a great opportunity!

  3. NI going for itpublished at 21:27 British Summer Time 2 June 2022

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Greece

    Mark Sterling
BBC Sport NI at Windsor Park

This is a bit more like it from Northern Ireland.

The tempo has increased massively as they pile on the pressure.

The players enjoy attacking The Kop end and the last 15 minutes has been far and away their best period of the game.

You wonder, though, if they can just create that one clear-cut chance to get back in it.

The crowd are certainly playing their part - the atmosphere has been good throughout this match and you sense the supporters know the team need an extra late push.

Greece break after a poor Northern Ireland corner and it's three-on-three.

Guess who's back to snuff out the danger? 37-year-old Steven Davis.

    Unbelievable from the skipper.

  9. He couldn't, could he?published at 21:16 British Summer Time 2 June 2022

    Northern Ireland 0-1 Greece

    Mark Sterling
BBC Sport NI at Windsor Park

The Kyle Lafferty song is never too far from the track list at Windsor Park, but it was belted out with gusto when then the 34-year-old made his arrival from the substitute's bench.

He said before the match that he feared his international career might have been over - well, he's back now.

He's no doubt sick of that stat that he hasn't scored an international goal in almost 19 hours of football - and, my goodness, now would be a great time to end that run.

He has been putting himself about, as he always does, and now he has Dion Charles joining him up front as he seeks his first ever NI goal.

Massive 20 minutes incoming for Ian Baraclough and his players.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:15 British Summer Time 2 June 2022

    Northern Ireland 0-1 Greece

Ian Baraclough responds by bringing Dion Charles on for Gavin Whyte.

Could it be a big night for the Bolton Wanderers forward?

    Three changes for the visitors.

Dimitris Kourbelis, Tasos Chatzigiovanis and Vangelis Pavlidis are on.

And now Steven Davis fires over from the edge of the area. This is much, much better and the substitutions have made a difference!

  13. CLOSE!published at 21:11 British Summer Time 2 June 2022

    Northern Ireland 0-1 Greece

Niall McGinn takes a snapshot from the edge of the area but it's straight at Benfica keeper Odisseas Vlachodimos.

    John O'Neill
Former Northern Ireland defender on BBC Radio Ulster

I think it will [lift the team and crowd] and you never know what you're going to get from Kyle - apart from a confrontation somewhere!

  15. Elsewhere in Europepublished at 21:09 British Summer Time 2 June 2022

An unfortunate Djibril Sow own goal has put the Czech Republic 2-1 up against Switzerland.

Arnor Sigurdsson has put Iceland 2-1 ahead in Israel.

Portugal still trail Spain 1-0 but they have brought Cristiano Ronaldo on.

  16. Postpublished at 21:06 British Summer Time 2 June 2022

    Northern Ireland 0-1 Greece

Don't forget, Kyle Lafferty thought his international career may have come to the end and he's looking for his first international goal since 2016.

He's on to a huge round of applause.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 21:05 British Summer Time 2 June 2022

    Northern Ireland 0-1 Greece

Death, taxes and subs on the hour mark.

Here comes Kyle Lafferty in his famous #10! He's on for Shayne Lavery and Niall McGinn replaces Conor Bradley.

  18. Postpublished at 21:04 British Summer Time 2 June 2022

    Northern Ireland 0-1 Greece

Greece break with Dimitris Limnios but the wide man panics and sends a ball forward that is closer to the railway station behind the stand than his own team-mate.

  19. Postpublished at 21:02 British Summer Time 2 June 2022

    Northern Ireland 0-1 Greece

    Iain Dowie
Former Northern Ireland striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

How many crosses have we seen the wing backs make? Next to none. We haven't seen any of that and it's meant to be a feature of this system.
