Republic of Ireland winger James McClean says he is excited about the youngsters coming through.
The 33-year-old wins his 94th cap tonight.
McClean said: "It's very exciting. They are showing the ability and potential they have.
"The more experience you get at this level, the more their ability will be enhanced.
"I think the future is bright. You saw it last Saturday - Nathan Collins at the back, the shift Jay Molumby put in in the middle of the park.
"If you look at the second and third goals, you can see what Troy [Parrott] and Michael [Obafemi] can do.
"It is obviously very pleasing. It is just nice to be here and see that day in, day out and see potentially what they could go on to be."
The Republic of Ireland will have to settle for a Euro Under-21 Championship play-off place after a 4-1 defeat by group winners Italy in Ascoli.

Republic of Ireland boss Stephen Kenny: "It's a great opportunity for the three players coming in. I'm sure they're looking forward to it.
"There was incredible support at the Aviva Stadium against Scotland. The noise was special. Tonight 700 have made the trip which is tremendous. We're playing the Euros quarter-finalists away from home. Some players are coming in trying to make their mark.
"The players have to give everything and have the belief we had against Scotland. It's a different test tonight. We had a great home win which was the biggest in a while. It would surpass that if we get a result here."

Man of the match Michael Obafemi and John Egan are injured, while Shane Duffy is suspended.
Scott Hogan, Darragh Lenihan and Dara O'Shea come in.
Lenihan's only two previous caps were friendlies in 2018.
Ukraine, who have had a bug sweep through their camp, make four changes from their 3-0 win over Armenia.
Goalkeeper Dmytro Riznyk makes his first international start. This is his first game of 2022.

In this international break they had away games in Scotland, Wales and the Republic of Ireland and then beat Armenia 3-0 in Lodz.
They beat the Irish 1-0 in Dublin last week.
