    Leeds 0-2 Tottenham

What a start to this game.

Tottenham are two up but Leeds look dangerous every time they come forward, too.

  2. CLOSE!published at 18 mins

    Leeds 0-2 Tottenham

Leeds go so close to pulling one back as Robin Koch rattles the post with a lovely side-footed effort!

Hugo Lloris was well beaten there.

    Dejan Kulusevski (15 mins)

    How about that!

Dejan Kulusevski uses a mixture of quick feet and sheer determination to double Tottenham's lead with a great goal.

He collects it on the right, plays a neat one-two with Matt Doherty and then drives into the area before firing low into the bottom corner with his left foot to beat Illan Meslier at his front post.

    Leeds in big trouble.

This has been coming, this is not Spurs' first attempt on goal. Meslier has had to make two or three decent saves, they've had four attempts on target. Doherty and Sessegnon are really pressing the Leeds defence. The Leeds attack is really pushing up, they are not compact at all; it was only a matter of time.

    Leeds 0-1 Tottenham

Ryan Sessegnon is looking dangerous down the Tottenham left, he's getting in behind and putting balls into the box. Dejan Kulusevski can't quite squeeze this one on goal.

    Leeds 0-1 Tottenham

Well, that is the sort of impact Tottenham wanted Matt Doherty to have when he arrived from Wolves, but it has happened far too rarely as far as the wing-back is concerned.

Antonio Conte will be delighted with how Doherty hit the box there, though.

  8. goal

GOAL - Leeds 0-1 Tottenhampublished at 12:39 Greenwich Mean Time 26 February 2022

    Matt Doherty (10 mins)

    The perfect start for Spurs!

It's a goal straight out of the Antonio Conte playbook, one wing-back feeding the other.

Ryan Sessegnon gets in down the left and sweeps a delightful low ball across goal for Matt Doherty to smartly slot home.

    Leeds 0-0 Tottenham

The Leeds press is absolutely smothering Spurs when in possession, buoyed by the noise ringing out around Elland Road.

Jack Harrison wins it and drives at Cristian Romero, going down under pressure from the Argentine defender but he doesn't get the foul the home crowd thought he should.

    Leeds 0-0 Tottenham

First chance for Harry Kane as he collects on the edge of the Leeds area and tries to chip an effort into the far corner, but drags his attempt wide.

Shades of Eric Cantona the way he set up for that one, just not the execution.

    Leeds 0-0 Tottenham

Son Heung-min fancies a dip from distance but Leeds goalkeeper Illan Meslier is comfortably behind it. Pretty frantic early doors at Elland Road.

    Leeds 0-0 Tottenham

We're already getting a sense of how end to end this will be. Spurs go and win a corner of their own, which is headed away.

The visitors keep the pressure on though as Cristian Romero drives forward and Eric DIer picks out Ryan Sessegnon with a diagonal pass.

It's a dangerous cross from the wing-back, but Illan Meslier gathers well.

Leeds are the most positive side you will see in the Premier League.

Every single player works so hard but when they are out of possession it comes across as erratic.

They don’t look organised, there’s massive gaps.

They are in a relegation fight.

  15. CLOSE!published at 3 mins

    Raphinha will whip it...

And it's nodded just wide of the far post by Pascal Struijk! Great early chance for Marcelo Bielsa's side, Struijk really should have found the target with his glancing header.

Dan James goes bustling forward down the left and is knocked over by Dejan Kulusevski.

Free-kick in a dangerous position for the hosts.

    Leeds 0-0 Tottenham

Leeds are in all white, Tottenham are sporting that purple number with a splattering of green.

At least there won't be a kit clash.

Spurs just cannot get it right in regards to consistency at the moment.

That’s the problem they have. They peak and then they go and lose.
